In addition, due to sorrow, epidemics, and infectious diseases, etc., diseases such as wind are disturbed, and the entire eyeball appears white, and things are seen as if in a haze. This is called a smoke-like eye disease. Furthermore, if timid people suddenly see wonderful sights such as sunlight, due to this reason, the wind that relies on the eyes disturbs the diseases, causing the luster of the eyes to dry up, thereby weakening the vision, and the color is like lapis lazuli, and the eyes are wide open. Without other diseases, this is not a naturally occurring eye disease, its name is called infectious eye disease. Among these visual diseases, except for vision problems caused by phlegm, wind, bile, blood, mixtures, and infectious diseases, as well as sunken eyes and shrunken vision, etc., should be avoided. Diseases related to wind, bile, phlegm, mixtures, and blood, as well as the three diseases covered by cataracts, and diseases like trachoma, these seven diseases can be cured mildly. The remaining twelve diseases, the six types of cataracts caused by wind, bile, phlegm, and mixtures, as well as diseases worsened by bile, diseases where vision is impaired by phlegm, diseases worsened by disease, diseases damaged by heat, diseases worsened by acidic substances, and diseases called smoke-like, these should be treated quickly.
