It will become dim, blood will increase, bile will increase, phlegm will increase, infection will occur, and it will become sluggish. The harm to the body is not only caused by strenuous exercise, but also by other similar situations, such as not sleeping at night, interrupted breathing due to long journeys, excessive fatigue with women, excessive laughter, talking too much and too loudly, forcing oneself when strength is insufficient, like a lion over-subduing an elephant, the body will become uncomfortable. Therefore, after applying butter to the body, apply and wipe medicinal mud for massage, which can eliminate mucus, fully melt fat, stabilize the body and limbs, and make the skin color clean and very bright. After massaging the body with medicinal mud in this way, you can take a bath. The benefits of bathing are that the stomach is warm and food is easily digested, it is beneficial for women, it can add charm, it is beneficial for longevity, it is radiant and can increase strength, the body skin will not itch, there is no dirt, it eliminates fatigue and drowsiness, there is no dust, the body and mind are comfortable, there is no thirst, the body becomes cool from fever, and it eliminates inauspicious omens. The bath water should be heated, poured on the body from the neck down for cleaning, which can enhance the body's strength. It is not good to wash the head with too hot water. If you wash your head with hot water, it will take away the body's strength, cause hair loss, and harm the eyes. If there is a disease on the lips or cheeks, or the eyes are painful, or suffering from oral disease, or ear pain, or fever, or abdominal distension, or a cold, or indigestion, or just after eating, it is not appropriate to take a bath, do not take a bath. Eating should be done after the food is digested, which is beneficial. When eating, it should also be in moderation. If you want to defecate, do not hold it back. Even if there is no urge to defecate, do not squeeze hard. If you want to defecate, do not do other things before defecating. Similarly, if you feel unwell due to any illness, do not do other things before the illness is eliminated. All beings do everything in order to pursue happiness.

Practitioner! That happiness cannot be attained without practicing the Dharma. Therefore, one should diligently practice the Dharma. Therefore, one should stay far away from unwholesome friends and rely on virtuous spiritual friends. Therefore, one should abandon the non-virtuous actions of body, speech, and mind, such as harming sentient beings, stealing, engaging in sexual misconduct out of desire, slandering, using harsh language, lying, engaging in frivolous talk, having harmful intentions, being greedy, and holding wrong views. One should help sentient beings who are impoverished, afflicted by illness and sorrow, and suffering, to the best of one's ability. Even towards the smallest insects like ants, one should regard them as one's own body and life. One should always be hospitable to gods, monks, Brahmins, doctors, the elderly, kings, and newcomers. One should be hospitable to beggars, not turn one's back on them, and not despise or scold them. Even if enemies harm with weapons or inflict punishment, one should diligently help them. Whether in prosperity or decline, one should maintain a consistent mind and rejoice exceedingly. One should not dwell in sorrow. One should not be jealous of those who have the opportunity to give due to leisure and wealth. One should speak at the right time, speak beneficially, and speak appropriately. One should not deceive with lies, but be honest and trustworthy, speak with a smile and be frank from the beginning. One should possess good conduct, be compassionate and merciful. One should not seek happiness only for oneself, nor should one trust everyone completely, nor should one be suspicious of everyone. One should ensure that there are no so-called enemies, and that one is not an enemy to anyone. One should not utter the words, "Others despise me," nor should one say, "The ruler or lama does not love me." One should combine with the minds of others, and consider how to make them happy, for making others happy is what is called wisdom. One should not torment or suppress one's senses, nor should one excessively pursue pleasure and indulgence. In short, one should not engage in empty and meaningless activities devoid of Dharma, wealth, and enjoyment. One should engage in activities that possess all three.
