彼等滋養，血肉等不變異，然血向上湧。食物聚於腹內，不變為精微，多半變為垢穢，不滋養身之精華。若糟粕不變為血，何況轉化為精華？消耗者唯增長糞便而存活。徵象雖小亦衰弱，病不能勝藥力。彼等應捨棄，其他一切具足亦應醫治。病有一種混合，以及六種由消耗脂肪所致。是為聲音嘶啞之分類。其中風動則衰弱粗糙，覺喉嚨似被砂礫填滿。對此，油、溫暖、乳有益。膽汁所致則咽喉乾燥，變得不能說話。黏液則覺喉嚨似被塗抹。聲音低沉、嘶啞、尖銳。所有徵象皆具足。由消耗所致則覺沉重。極度疼痛如被煙熏。脂肪轉化之黏液，嗜睡。變得不能理解詞語。此處應捨棄混合與末期。於食慾不振之內，舌與心之所在各異，混合以及由意之苦惱所致，是為第五種。口有澀味、甜味、麻味。與風等三者依次相合。由一切所致則無味。如憂傷、憤怒等四種疾病。厭食、疾病之根源各異。由不悅之境所生，是為第五種。此等空行之風，因擾亂而引發一切疾病。若令彼等甦醒，則口有辣味。多痰，食慾不振先發。風所致則臍刺痛背部。肋間疼痛，吐出食物後，略有排出且間斷，吐出澀味泡沫狀物。伴隨噯氣聲，顏色發黑，稀薄且難以排出，伴隨聲音。痰多、口乾、頭痛、心痛，伴隨聲音嘶啞與腹脹。膽汁所致則吐出如灰水，或如海螺口之綠色、藍色、黃色。伴隨血、酸味、灼熱感。伴隨口渴、昏厥、發熱、毆打感。黏液所生則油膩、澀味、寒冷。黏稠、緩慢、沉重、有網狀紋路。味甜、鹹味、味道強烈。黏著且汗毛豎立。臉 腫脹，口內有甜味。腹脹且心痛，痰

Those nourish, but flesh and the like do not change, yet blood rises upwards. Food gathers in the abdomen, but it does not turn into essence, mostly it turns into filth, and does not increase the body's essence. Even if the signs are small, they are weak, and the disease cannot withstand the power of medicine. Those should be abandoned, but all others, even if complete, should be treated. There is one kind of mixed disease, and six kinds caused by wasting fat. These are the classifications of hoarseness.
