For (diseases of) karma and sins, as well as killing, disease, and famine, for things that want to fight and fear, apply medicinal drinks, nasal medicines, eye medicines, prepare bracelets, etc. This is called "Moonrise," and it is the best method for pacifying and bringing happiness. Old poisons suppressed by detoxification medicines, or dried by forest fires, wind, and sunlight, or because they themselves do not possess merits, become what is called decaying poison. This poison is difficult to detect because of its small power, mixes with phlegm, and exists for many years. Being harmed by it causes an unsightly complexion and diarrhea. Harm is caused by disease, blood, thirst, indigestion, and loss of appetite. Fainting, vomiting, confusion, hoarseness, and symptoms of ascites caused by poison will cause harm. The root cause of indigestion arises from phlegm and wind. The root cause of digestion arises from bile and wind diseases. Human limbs decay and the voice becomes hoarse. It should be treated like plucking hair. If it resides in the stomach or blood, various diseases caused by bodily essence will arise. The wind in front and undigested cold, as well as polluted places, harmful foods, and sleeping during the day, will damage the bodily essence, therefore it is called a more harmful poison. For harmful poisons, fumigate and purify from top to bottom. The medicine to eliminate harmful poisons should be mixed with honey and given to lick. Long pepper and Kachura, fragrant spikenard, fir, cardamom and amomum, Kutanata, Sajjika, rue, cinnamon, sandalwood, and medicine mixed with coarse cloth and salt. This is called eliminating harmful poisons, and it can also play other defensive roles. If struck by a poisoned arrow, darkness will appear repeatedly. The complexion becomes unsightly, and aversion and suffering quickly arise. Just like being covered by insects, the body will become hot and tingling. The face, back, shoulders, and head, as well as all the joints, will ache. Diseased black blood will flow out, and thirst, fainting, and fever will strike. The eyes are black and vomiting, hunching over, spitting, and difficulty breathing. The wound is red, the edges are yellow, the center is black and very painful. It swells and bulges immediately, and the flesh also turns black, black and very rotten. Pus will seep out. If it does not hit the vital point, quickly take measures that are beneficial to the heart. Pull out the sting and cauterize.
