When not eating or in the morning, grapes with honey, and arura separately, are to be eaten, and are always used by those with cataracts. Sixty-four parts of Ligu eye medicine, shavings of copper, silver, and gold, each taken one part and mixed together, are placed in a double-lidded container, and burned until mixed. Then, the essence of the six tastes, seven times each, is poured into it separately. Pearl, conch, and lapis lazuli, mixed with three hot spices. This powdered eye medicine should be given, it is effective in clearing all cataracts. The juice of grapes and lotus roots, mixed with milk, wine, and fat. Similarly, Ligu eye medicine, boiled and applied, then mixed with conch powder. This is an eye medicine that clarifies vision, it is beneficial for all eye diseases, as stated by the King of Supreme Body. Two measures of Spangma, burned with red cedar charcoal, then goat's milk, butter, and honey, poured into it seven times each. Add Tabya and Nalesham, Ligu eye medicine and glass shards, Spang incense, alkali flower, arura, realgar, Lycium resin, long pepper, cardamom and sea foam, and stalactite and yogurt, two parts each, and one measure of licorice. It cures eye floaters, night blindness, etc., and red eye disease, this powder is excellent for treating cataracts, like sunlight dispelling darkness.
