Oh! Gods and lamas, old hermits, may accomplishments be bestowed in the realm of the gods. Furthermore, for the demons of the gods, offer the torma in the northern direction. To the demons of the Asuras, according to their desires, offer it in the western direction at the border area. To the demons of the Gandharvas, offer a cow, or a torma with clothes and ornaments. To the mischievous gods and Naga demons, offer it by the flowing water, to the Nagas in the southeast corner. To the Yakshas, offer it in their own place, or in the place where two rivers meet. To the Rakshasas, offer it at the crossroads of the road, or in a dense and frightening place. Offer the Rakshasas in the southern direction. Offer the Brahma Rakshasas in the eastern direction. To the flesh-eaters, in an empty house, reside in the western direction and offer. Rosaries that are clean and white, incense, milk porridge, rice, yogurt, and white umbrellas, are desired as tormas for the gods. The bark, flowers, and fruits of Black Tamala and Shirisha, as well as black Patala, the root of Bilva, the three pungent spices, neem, cumin, and hemlock, garlic, and the fruits of Amla, medicine mixed with goat urine, are also beneficial when instilled in the nose or applied to the eyes. Boil these same ingredients with four times the amount of cow urine and ghee, and drinking, instilling in the nose, and applying as an ointment will dispel the spirits of Rakshasas. For meat-eaters, offer jaggery wine, sesame cake, sesame flour, yogurt, radish, rock salt, flour, ghee, spirits, and rice torma.
