The large veins are located at the joints of the fingers, when contracted and the body is curled up, it dislikes cold, is comfortable to touch, stiff, trembling, and without sensation. When there is a lot of blood, the swelling is severely painful, red and has a slight fever, it cannot be relieved by oily and rough things, and is accompanied by itching and ulceration. When the bile element is dominant, there is fever and confusion, a feeling of dust, fainting, intoxication, and a strong feeling of thirst, it is unbearable to touch, the painful area is red, swollen, ripe, and very bitter. Mucus causes immobility, heaviness, no sensation, oiliness and cold, itching and slight pain. The characteristics of the mixture are difficult to distinguish. New diseases caused by one disease are easy to treat, while those caused by two diseases are difficult to treat. When caused by a mixture, pus flows out, and stiffness and rashes should be avoided. Wind is located at the joints of the limbs, quickly damaging the circulation of blood. These two mutually mixed diseases can take life. Among the five self-nature winds, life is rough, violent, fast, overeating, suffering harm and road fatigue, forcibly suppressing and overworking, after being disturbed, it will cause damage to the eyes, etc., causing colds, weakness, thirst, cough, difficulty breathing, and other diseases. Ascending wind is caused by numbness, belching, vomiting, sleep being suppressed, lifting heavy objects and crying violently, excessive laughter, etc., causing the disease to be disordered, the throat is blocked, the spirit is weakened, causing colds, causing torticollis, tumors growing on the neck, etc., and diseases will be caused until suffocation. Pervasive wind is caused by walking and excessive gathering, excessive play and unbearable behavior, incompatible food, roughness, fear, joy, and Imu-ga, etc., causing disorder. Semen, strength, and joy decline, hair and spirit are distracted, causing plague, and pain in all parts of the limbs.
