Now, a face like a lotus, Others who follow are also like that, If they exist, they will imitate. This is called the uncertain simile. Only by the beauty of your face, Not following the moon, But also by the action of bringing joy. Such a condensed simile also exists. Your face appears on yourself, While the moon is high in the sky. This alone is different, There is nothing else, this is the excellent simile. Your radiance is also present in myself, The moon need not be proud of it, Because the lotus also has it. This is called the speculative simile. If some lotuses, Transform into eyes, They will possess the splendor of your face. This is called the wondrous simile. Slender body, your face has a rabbit, So it is called, your face is considered, The moon also follows it. This is said to be the deluded simile. Do bees circle within the lotus? Do eyes flicker on your face? My mind is unsettled. This is called the doubtful simile. The beauty that shames the moon, Is not a lotus that can defeat the moon, Therefore, it is your face. This is called the definite simile. Comparable to the one with cool rays, Possessing splendor and fragrance, Your face is like a lotus. This is said to be the combined simile. In order to express with similar words, This is the equal simile, for example: This garden is like a maiden, Beautiful, Sala trees and Kana trees. Lotus pollen is abundant, the moon is depleted. From these, your face, Even if similar, has differences. This is considered the derogatory simile. The lotus causes Brahma to be born supremely, The moon is worn on the head by Ishvara. Saying these are similar to your face, This is said to be the laudatory simile. Even if possessing merit, it may become a fault, Saying the moon is similar to your face, What I want to say is in my mind. This is called the simile of wanting to say. The hundred-petaled lotus and the autumn moon, And your face, these three, Are completely contradictory to each other. This is said to be the contradictory simile. Because it is stained and foolish, The moon and your face, Never have the ability to compete. This is indeed the negative simile. Your face is characterized by gazelle-like eyes, The moon is characterized by the gazelle itself, Even so, this is still similar, Not excellent, this is flattery.

And like similes. This is not a face like a lotus, these eyes are not bees, this is said from the extremely obvious similarity, that is a simile stating its nature. Your face surpasses the beauty of the moon and lotus, becoming like myself, this is a non-common simile. All the essence of the lotus's beauty, as if gathered in certain things, your face is very beautiful, this is considered an impossible simile. Like poison arising from the moon's light, like fire arising from sandalwood, harsh words arising from this face, this is a non-existent simile. Sandalwood, water, and the moon's rays, like the moon, crystal, etc., your touch is cool, this is the many similes clarifying the difference. Slender you, your face, as if taken from the center of the moon, as if taken from the lotus, this is the simile of change. Like light shining on the sun, the sun shining on the day, the day shining on the sky, with complete overwhelming force, you possess splendor, this is called the chain simile. If the meaning of language is measured by its true meaning, the simile of language is like sound, divided into one and many. Your face, eyes are unstable, the light of your teeth is very bright, the swaying bees in the lotus, are beautiful as if decorated with stamens. Like a lotus-like slender woman, her face is like a lotus, like enjoying honey, I drink, drink, and play. Arranging certain things, and describing in detail their similar qualities, possessing the wisdom to understand equality, this is the simile of similar things. For example, although kings have been born, there is now not one like you. Among all gathered things, the drinker is certainly not second. Through excellence, bringing inferior things together in one ritual, those similarities that are said, are called combining similes. For example, son, enemy, heaven, you protect the earth, bringing happiness. He defeats the arrogant Asuras, you destroy the masters of men. The king acts like the moon in beauty, like the sun in splendor, like the ocean in steadfastness, this is considered tradition. For the wise, there is nothing disliked, the faults of similes are certainly not in words, signs, and sentences, but in inferiority and excellence themselves.
