迦āya(梵文天城体:काय,梵文罗马拟音:kāya,汉语字面意思:身体)这个词,是指集合、聚集和身体,这些都属于名称。

Because it makes things clear, it is called a clarifier. The so-called 'to speak' refers to expressing definite words from the perspective of necessary purpose. Because it makes things clear, it speaks the meaning of all dharmas, enables remembrance, and enables understanding, hence it is called 'to speak.' Now, in order to show the collection of letters, it is said, 'Collection, body, and aggregation are names; combine them in this way.' The term kāya (藏文,梵文天城体:काय,梵文罗马拟音:kāya,汉语字面意思:body) refers to collection, aggregation, and body; these belong to the category of names. 'Combine them in this way' means that the meaning of 'collection' can also be applied to nouns and sentences. In that case, the collection of letters can also be explained through cause, nature, quantity, definite words, and detailed classifications. These classifications should be understood as detailed classifications arising from a fundamental source, as well as detailed classifications by cause, by place, by name, and by guidance. It should be understood that what has been said above is included in these. Now, to show the collection of names, intending to show the accomplished name and the subsequently accomplished name as two, just as a ball is formed from dust, when letters gather, the name will be completely accomplished. Having said this, this shows the cause of the collection of names. Similarly, it should be understood that this is also explained through its own nature, quantity, definite words, and classifications. Among them, the cause is that just as when dust gathers to form a ball, it cannot be said to be the same or different, similarly, when letters gather to form a name, the letters themselves are not the name, and there is no name apart from the letters; the state of letters gathering is called a name. The gathering of names to form a sentence is also the same. Now, wanting to show its own nature and so on, it is said, 'Whatever is gathered by parts, when it speaks of the very nature of things, whether the parts are many or few, that is called a name.' Having said this, if the gathering of letters is a name, then can a name be formed by gathering just a few letters? Like this, if only the very nature of things is shown, then there is no definite standard for the number of letters, for example, like the form of the four letters in parikasha (པ་རི་ཀ་ཥ་).
