The karma that changes on the earth depends on fire, water, and enemies burning, suffering, and destroying, and so on. The karma that depends on both changes depends on bloodletting and cauterization, becoming beneficial through suffering, and so on. The karma that depends on neither changes anywhere, such as the wind causing trees to sway and birds to make sounds, and so on. There are also four bases that depend on power: depending on the power of different entities, depending on the king, such as the king's people. Depending on the power of different times, depending on the seed, such as the sprout. Depending on the power that is not different, the Tathagata abides in the wisdom of self-awareness, and so on. Depending on the power that is neither, the habituation abides in the alaya, and so on. There are also four bases of possession: possessing a favorable side, Deva-given has wealth, food, and army, and so on. Possessing an unfavorable side, Deva-given has enemies, and so on. Not possessing both, Deva-given has a bad horse, and so on. Possessing neither, Deva-given has unnecessary items, and so on. These, together with the summarized meaning and a little content, are the eight places. The expressive words are also included in them. Some are the essence of the meaning, and some are through transmission. In order to clearly show the differences in occasions expressed by the combination of words and concluding words of all these meanings, there are others, such as including summary remainder, negation affirmation emphasis and owner, etc., which are widely elaborated. Among them, the summary is the summarizing word, that is, it is shown by the general meaning and differences of the vow, and those that can be expressed by "it is complete." The one with remaining words is with remainder, and the remainder is supplemented by meaning. Where it exists, that is with remainder, such as Deva-given cutting trees, etc., just like quoting other examples. Negation is what prevents, such as non-existence and not being. What is the difference between this? What is negated becomes a difference, but what prevents does not, not

Because it has already been stated. The thing to be negated does not exist, and it can be said for both. Adding the difference of the basis, showing the negation of a non-existent thing is called negation of non-existence. If a word shows the negation of an existent thing, it is called negation of non-being. Among them, in the four kinds of non-existence shown, showing complete non-existence and non-existence after destruction is non-existence. Prior non-existence and one to another non-existence are because each does not abandon its own support. Those non-beings, from the difference, will become antidotes, incompatible, small, different, and inferior. The word of negation shows that it is those situations. Therefore, showing in a way that includes negation is called distinction. Why is it called negation? Because whatever has these, there is no reason not to change. Establishment is called establishment. If these meanings to be established exist, they will not change. What is the difference between change and non-change? Whatever exists, say it exists. Whatever does not exist, say it does not exist. If you say that non-existence also exists, using the word of non-existence will make both oneself and both change. Using the word of existence will establish both oneself and others. Therefore, they are named negation and establishment. Emphasis is nature and category. Among them, emphasizing with nature can eliminate others showing others, etc. Emphasizing with other categories will become also good, etc. There are also cases where the sound of emphasis is separated, such as "For that, this is" like that. Where does that come from? Some come from ridicule, some from companions. Owners, etc. are owners, the meaning of owner is, for whom, the name of that existence is established there, such as showing those who have many grains, those who have two cows, and those who have beneficial causes for it, etc., these are the cases of meaning transformation. In addition, "Decoration and supplement are used in time", among which there are three kinds of word decoration: conformity, non-conformity, and supplement. Among them, the decoration of conformity is to show the meaning in conformity. The decoration of non-conformity is that even if it does not conform, it can establish what is to be established, that is, acceptance.
