This is said solely for the purpose of understanding that "the relation applies only to the sign." If so, if it applies only to the sign, then how is it said to be "the relation of the sign-holders"? Although this applies only to the sign, it is said in this way because it applies in dependence on the application to the sign-holder. There is no fault in saying, "It is not because it exists in both." Starting from "Then again," etc., by negating the certainty of what has been said, it is shown that it is unreasonable to say "the relation of the sign and the sign-holder," and that even if the sign-holder does not exist, it will not occur. Starting from "Wanting," etc., if the sign also slightly becomes the sign-holder, even so, it is only the essence of the sign-holder. Even so, it shows that because it depends on the thing that has been done that is to be proven, only the impermanence itself that has become the sign applies to not occurring if it does not exist, and only establishes its own side. The sign is also pervasive, because it is pervasive, it is pervasive, for the sign-holder, it is for impermanence itself. By saying "that pervasiveness itself is the object of the sign-holder," it is said to be pervasive of the sign-holder. For example, just as one says 'dhudha' (Sanskrit, धु, dhu, shake) to the akṣas (Sanskrit, अक्ष, akṣa, axis). The one with limbs is from that. Because it is the pervader, it is said that the pervasiveness itself of the thing that has been done that exists only in impermanence itself. Therefore, because it is pervasiveness itself, the thing that has been done only becomes understood, not the understander. If asked what it is like, it is said, like the horn of a cow. Just as the horn pervades the cow, it should be understood only as being understood, not as the understander. Whatever is on something, that is the understander of that, for example, the cow itself is like having horns. The thing that has been done also exists only in impermanence itself. It is self-nature. Why is it, this is asking why pervasiveness is impossible. Not running to what is to be negated. Starting from "For what is to be negated," etc. What is to be negated is the inconsistent aspect of what is to be proven. For that, the reason not running is non-existence. Therefore, one should observe and rely on what the pervasiveness of the sign is, because only from that is the reason for the understander. Therefore, the sign is all the pervasiveness of the object of the sign-holder.

Even if that exists, it is not the cause, because it is not the reason for making it understood. "By what is done" etc., if impermanence itself pervades all that is done, even so, it is not by its pervasiveness that it makes it understood, but because it prevents permanence itself. The negation of permanence itself is non-pervasiveness, and it is only by that that it makes it understood. A reason that does not turn away from the opposite side is not what makes the thing to be proven understood, just like measurability. Similarly, "impermanence itself" etc., when impermanence itself must be taken as the reason for the sake of establishing what is done, even when impermanence itself pervades all actors, it is not by its pervasiveness that it makes it understood. What is it then? It is the prevention of what is not done, because the opposite side does not exist in what is not done. Therefore, because the reason turns away from the opposite side of what is to be proven, it becomes what makes it understood, otherwise it is not. Therefore, for the meaning of impermanence, wherever the pervasiveness of what is done exists, because there is no room for what is not done, and impermanence itself has no room for what is not done, because it does not exist and is impossible, and impermanence itself prevents what is not done, that is, excluding what is not done, it becomes the only thing to be understood. The phrase "preventing what is not done" is for the purpose of distinguishing the meaning understood from the aspect of establishment. "It is not what makes it understood itself," because it does not pervade the opposite side, so is whatever pervades the reason for making it understood? The pervasiveness of what is done in impermanence itself is also not because it does not pervade the opposite side. In this way, when showing the pervasiveness that "whatever is impermanent is done," it is not understood that what is done turns away from permanence, so what is it? It is knowing impermanence from what is not done. Therefore, only impermanence itself has no room in what is not done, so preventing what is not done is the only thing to be understood. What is done is not connected with impermanence itself, but makes it
