Because that will not become a sign, because there is no special following. However, it is only through the general appearance that one can recall what was previously seen. Likewise, it is not possible to infer one's own nature merely through "touch previously apprehended manifestly." However, it shows that it can be inferred subsequently only through the general appearance. If someone asks, what are terms such as "how is seeing"? If those terms that speak as experienced, are used by the noble ones. According to your view, those terms that focus on one's own nature and only state others, would become non-noble terms. If someone says that it would also harm the commitment. This is explained by "seeing" etc., those words of "seeing" etc. that have the reason for the act of seeing etc., when they have their own reason, are also used by the noble ones, and when they do not have a reason, when are they used? Thus, the terms of the noble ones are promised, and by stating "it is not stating one's own nature," it is shown that this does not harm the commitment. If someone says, then, words contradictory to the treatise have been spoken. Then, the moment that is only experienced by eye consciousness is not experienced by mind consciousness, then, what is it? Wasn't it previously said that "it is another moment"? If someone asks, how is it said like this? This is not a fault, because this is to insist that what is experienced by eye consciousness is only the meaning, that is, focusing on one's own nature, meaning it is only one's own nature. Or, since the previous and subsequent moments have the same kind, it is intended to say that they are not different, so it will be said like this. Or, the word "Anuri" has the meaning of together, and the word "Bhuta" also has the meaning of birth. Therefore, the eye consciousness and the jointly born only cognize the meaning, this is the meaning here, so there is no fault. If someone says, if the self-nature experienced by mind consciousness can be shown, then, consciousness also cognizes blue. How is it to cling to and say "blue"?

If so, it is also the nature there. Or, it is said that the word "that" should only be connected with wind, or that it does not refer to the nature of wind, etc. The meaning of this is that whatever is a quality is indicated to matter, such as smell, touch, etc., are also qualities, which is the nature. Since touch is a quality, it is inferred that it depends on matter, and only matter itself is established through meaning. For example, if the senses such as the eye are established for the purpose of others, then others are also established through meaning, this is its intention. The so-called "from the complete remainder", what is established from the complete remainder is only inference, because it is born from the sign, it is thought so. As it is said, etc., this touch is not earth, because it does not act together with smell, etc. It is also not water and fire, because it has no warmth and no coldness. It is also not the unseen such as space, because when they are connected with touch, they will be blocked separately in places such as bottles. Because it is a quality that can be inferred by the mind, this inferable quality is also not the same as or one with dust. This is direct perception, and it is not a correct statement of a quality without support, from that complete remainder, this touch is only wind, this is established from the complete remainder. The so-called "because it has not been established to exist", the word "that" is related to wind, why for others, what is impossible, and for what has been established to exist, how should its existence truly arise? If the existence of what has not been established, then for that, from the complete remainder, that exists, how should it truly arise? When, a person nearby truly says "this was not done by him", at that time, it is unreasonable to say "this was done by the son of a prostitute from the complete remainder", only for them, will there be doubt "who did this". The so-called "because the negation is the same", even if it has been established to exist, but because the negation is the same, it is inference.
