Saying there is no reason for hearing is because no reason is found. All forms, etc., speak of other faults. Because common dharmas such as merit are present in all things such as form and sound, just as the eye can grasp, so can the ear, etc., therefore other senses can also enter the realm of other senses. Therefore, examining many senses becomes meaningless. No other fruit can be obtained. Realization is the fruit of knowledge, and if it is a valid means of cognition, there is no other fruit. It is also unreasonable to consider that the wisdom that depends on what should be taken is the fruit, because water, etc., is interrupted by memory. Among things that are interrupted and not interrupted, only those that are not interrupted should be considered as fruit. Because the objects are different, those should not be considered as fruit, because direct perception has as its object the self-characteristics of form, etc., while those have as their object actions such as lifting. The 'also' of wisdom, etc., briefly explains that the arising of wisdom is direct perception, and that also becomes either other than wisdom or non-other. If it is considered other, then it itself becomes a valid means of cognition. Production is also, Kaṇabhujā (Sanskrit), which means the collection of wisdom on the cause of the self, or the collection of existence itself, merit itself, and wisdom itself, and knowledge is the fruit. Those who contemplate also rely only on that rule. That is also because obtaining the collection by means of explanation and discourse is direct perception, and that should not be direct perception, because it is confused about the object. In that case, because it is constant, even if it is meaningless, it exists. Whatever is confused about the object is not direct perception, just like inverted knowledge. The collection is also like that. Pervaded by contradiction. If, according to the interpreter's intention, where wisdom arises from is direct perception, even so, because it is constant, the collection will not arise from anything, which is the nature of having no object. Therefore, in either case, if it is according to the intention of the author of the treatise, or if it is according to the intention of the interpreter.

Oh. Or, if one wants to generate the thought that the result arises from its own cause, and if existence and so on are included in the knowledge of the result, then in either case, it is not directly perceived. If one says "if" and so on, then if it is not other, but merely the arising of wisdom, then mentioning "arising" is meaningless for both views. Then, what is the necessity of mentioning "arising"? Isn't it to know that only the wisdom in the state of arising is valid? If one asks this, then it has already been said that this is unreasonable. Because of this, it is merely momentary, so there is no existence in the later time. Therefore, it is said that only the wisdom that is arising is valid, not the proximate cause. At that time, because there is no wisdom, there is no validity. Then what is the use of mentioning "arising"? If there is wisdom after arising, then even so, because there is no difference, it is also before that. If that is the case, then at that time also, validity should be prevented. Then what is the use of mentioning "arising"? The arising distinguished by wisdom does not enter the realm of the senses, and because of the reasons mentioned earlier, there is no direct perception. All non-Buddhists consider "self" to be the agent. Therefore, to prevent this, they say "arising of wisdom" and so on. Is it only this that is being analyzed? Since analysis is being written, how can debate intervene? Furthermore, here, because the definition includes the word "person," it is considered to be in the category of "self." Therefore, only this should be analyzed. Transforming from the previous state means destroying the state of not being an agent. If that is the case, then it is impermanent. Whatever changes is impermanent, like a pot. I am also like that. This is a fault of nature. If it does not change, etc., whenever there is no difference from the state of not being an agent, then at that time it is also not an agent, like the previous person. When wisdom arises, it is also as previously stated. This is a statement of pervasive contradiction. With this alone, all investigation can be prevented.
