It is only shown here how to do it, and that is precisely how to provide help. Afterwards, the sound is not without meaning, because it inherently possesses uninterrupted meaning. This fault does not exist, because considering correct entry as a measure is not the case, as it is merely memory. Just as desire, greed, anger, and fear, etc., are like memory, the entry of the senses and the entry of consciousness are also through consciousness. Therefore, it should be correctly guided in this way: the senses clinging to external objects is not an obvious characteristic. Consciousness subsequently clings to the clinging of the senses, and that is immediate memory. Just as consciousness subsequently clings to the clinging of the senses, as expressed immediately, the clinging of consciousness is able to correctly recognize the senses and remember it, meaning that the realms themselves possess multiple meanings. The second "Nica" should also be understood here as possessing a cause. The senses, being in accordance with memory, help consciousness and are like a complete union. Some think that understanding of meaning is achieved by making entry an object solely through memory. If that were the case, then grasping entry would not be a measure, and therefore it would not be a flaw in itself. As it has been said, it has been explained that correctly recognizing entry is memory itself. Memory is a distinction of obvious clinging, and through the word of distinction, it should be connected separately and obviously. So, isn't the doctrine mentioned in this text something with other meanings? Why should it be understood through it as merely memory? If that is the case, do the senses and consciousness only simultaneously cling to internal and external objects? Or is it only that they do not do it together? To this doubt, it is explained: the senses cling to external objects, and consciousness subsequently clings to the clinging of the senses. Why does memory have this distinction of obvious clinging? It should be said like this: memory has a distinction of obvious clinging, because this is very famous, so it cannot be denied. Both are.

When (the mind) enters external objects, this is also unreasonable. Because, if the mind enters external objects, and does not enter the objects of the senses, then those (external objects) become unblessed by the mind's objects, and are not what is grasped, and are not born from a person, truly combined with sentient beings, and become without cause. In that case, how can it be said to be direct perception? Because the objects of causelessness are not direct perception. Because there is no direct perception, memory will not become something with a prior. When the mind follows the grasping of the senses, then memory is reasonably a distinction of direct perception grasping. Thus, in the present time, the senses enter external objects, and must follow and grasp them. The mind's grasping of the senses is truly combined with the mind's grasping that appears in its own object, and becomes causal by the cause of a person. In this way, the senses are the grasping of direct perception, meaning that the grasping of the senses is direct perception itself. The separate (mind) is from the grasping of direct perception, and then becomes the mind's memory grasping. It has also been said that the separate (mind) enters past and future times. However, the mind that enters external objects together with the grasping of the senses will become the grasping of direct perception in the present time, and is not the separate (mind) later becoming the consciousness of memory? This is not the case, if it grasps external objects in that way, then even if both do the same thing, the senses will become meaningless. It has been said like this, when the senses distinguish the same thing, it is not ability. Because in this way, the difference between the grasping of direct perception and entering external objects is remembered, the mind is unreasonable. Therefore, the mind follows the grasping of the senses, but not the grasping of external objects. In this way, the senses and the mind enter external objects together.
