It is called the truth of the origin of suffering. It is mainly because the power of the effort initiated by it in all respects causes one to go to the place of birth, and also because it is immediately after that. Even if there is ignorance, it is impossible to enter without desire. From the perspective of karma, craving alone is the most important. Thus, even if there is karma, as long as it is not covered by the dust of ignorance and not fully moistened by the desire of craving, it will not be fruitful, just like the Arhats. Therefore, it is realized that craving and other faults arise only from the view of self. Seeing no-self, no-mine, because there is no complete clinging, there is no attachment to anything. For those who do not have attachment, there is also no hatred. For those who are not closely related to self and mine, and who have separately destroyed close relationships, these do not exist. If attachment to the view of self and mine, which is similar to this and arises from habituation, arises, there will be hatred and so on. Therefore, all the faults of craving and so on arise from the view of the aggregates as self. This itself is called ignorance, because it itself is the opposite of wisdom. This itself is the view of self, because it is the cause of producing faults, and it arises from it. Thinking that when it is exhausted, craving and other faults will be exhausted, by habituating what should it be abandoned? Examine the opposite of the view of self. When examining, also because it is the opposite form, only the view of no-self is the opposite of the view of self, thus realizing. Whatever is the opposite nature of something, that is its opposite. For example, sesame oil, which is the opposite nature of wind disease, is the treatment for wind disease. Similarly, the view of no-self is also the opposite nature of the view of self. The view of no-self, which is contrary to the view of self, is also contrary to the collection of faults such as attachment to self, which is preceded by it, thus understanding. Whatever is contrary to the cause of something, that is harmful to it. For example, for diseases caused by wind,

are contradictory, like sesame oil. The means of viewing selflessness are also contradictory to the cause of attachment to self, etc., and the view of self is contradictory, which is the nature. Having understood this, by repeatedly and for a long time becoming accustomed to seeing selflessness in many ways, all the virtues and faults of that and its opposite will become very clear in every way. Whatever a wise person repeatedly and for a long time becomes accustomed to in many ways, the faults and virtues of that and its opposite will become very clear, just as a wise person becomes accustomed to diligently applying himself to some special skill. The Bhagavan has also already become accustomed to viewing selflessness in many ways for a long time, which is the nature. This very means of becoming accustomed is also called the Truth of the Path. Such a means of becoming accustomed, and the uncommon one, also eliminates all the habitual tendencies of the cause of suffering, and this alone is the difference between the Bhagavan and the rhinoceros, etc. Because of engaging primarily in the benefit of others, one should undoubtedly cultivate such a habit, because if one does not fully know all the opposing and favorable aspects, one will not be able to closely show the opposing and favorable aspects to others. This means of becoming accustomed and the compassion previously shown are the complete cause. Its result is the complete benefit of oneself and others. Among them, the complete benefit of oneself is the special state of affairs characterized by the non-arising of the later cause of suffering, when the former cause of suffering ceases by itself from the aforementioned means of becoming accustomed, and one abides in the nature of seeing selflessness, which is called the Truth of Cessation. That alone, being distinguished by three distinctions, is called the Sugata. Showing the complete benefit of oneself, it is said that the complete benefit of oneself is by the Sugata, etc. The word "who" here should be understood as clarifying the meaning of being extremely superior, etc. here. What is said is the three aspects of meaning.
