Because it is said that merely indicating that the determination of reason will become another fruit, speculation will also exist for a while. In order to indicate that those who only manifest as the nature of what is clung to and want to prove it, this speculation does not exist, so these words were said. Like that, admitting that the fruit is another meaning is contradictory. It is explained by "special knowledge" and so on. If there is no difference in the nature of determination, even so, because the objects are different, the knowledge is also different, therefore, it shows that the fruit is different from the measure. "For the special is not other, because there is difference." And so on, the meaning is that whatever arises from something and has another object, that will not become its fruit, for example, the cutter of an object different from sandalwood is different from sandalwood. Special knowledge is also the author of an object different from the special, which is contrary to the universal function. The measure of the object of the other is the reason. Measure, this is also to approximate the author himself. For the other, the reason of the fruit is also unreasonable. This is the fruit of the measure. For other realms, etc., this is an example. Because it is the cause of becoming special knowledge, it is said to be unestablished. Think like this, for example, the cutter, such as sandalwood, etc., because it is the reason of the measure, it is the object of sandalwood, etc., similarly, special knowledge, because it is the reason of becoming special knowledge, it is the object of becoming special. The reason for becoming special knowledge is that if there is no that, there is no this. If not, there is too much fault, whoever is good at measuring, the author, and the karma to be measured, such as cattle, and the place in any direction, and the source from which it arises, and for whom it is given, that is also needed, all these also because they are the cause of becoming special knowledge, so they will act like special knowledge, that is the meaning. Therefore, etc., here there are two words "that", of which the second relationship is, which word, should be heard as the sixth ending of which. The first is which and those two are always connected.

To avoid (errors), even knowledge not obtained through hearing should be inferred. For example, just as from the meanings of the words "comprehension," "wisdom," and "separate clinging," and from words without "action," "Aṇa" is understood as "agent" and "Nila" as "that." Moreover, through the word "action," it should be explained that the basis is the same. Therefore, this meaning can be understood as follows: Through some knowledge, for the action that should be known, it shows the behavior, and through other (knowledge) possessing an agent, the act of offering is comprehended, that knowledge of the action that should be known is valid cognition (pramāṇa). Here, too, it only shows the action of the knowledge of the particular, because it arises as having that form. Otherwise, it would not become merely the knowledge of the particular. Therefore, only the particular is valid cognition, not as a particular, because it does not extend to its action. So, is valid cognition not the action among the six agents? It is the agent of action, not another agent. Therefore, how can it be said that that action is valid cognition? This is not a fault, because this is not merely the sixth characteristic of relationship. What is it then? It is the characteristic of the combination of possessing an agent, like "cutting the palāśa." This means that only the particular is valid cognition, and in order to prevent that the particular is not the particular to be measured, therefore different objects are established. Regarding "that also," etc., then, for the particular to be known, is it not said that the knowledge as the particular is the result? Why say there is no result? This fault does not exist, because the word "also" is a meaning that must be grasped, meaning that it is only for that, that is, only for the particular to be known. When the appearance is weak, only the particular of just cows, etc., is completely cut off, but not the clear distinction, because there is doubt about it, and cows, etc., are also only the nature of the general, and there is no other particular for it, and since the general cannot become the particular, at that time, the knowledge of the particular will become valid cognition or result, and accept either one.
