It is because it does not pervade the object to be proven. Not pervading is not not understanding, just as newly created things are, like impermanence. The opponent's knowledge, etc., the statement that the argument is established, the thing that should be heard, the sound and the newly produced thing also exist, this is obvious. From this, a fault will arise, but from this, inferring that it is not something that should be heard is contrary to the ability of what is seen. The newly produced thing also exists, and this is regarded as permanence. Inferring impermanence from ability is the opposite, but it is not so. Therefore, this is completely reversed. This is also unreasonable, because the opponent does not infer that it is not something that should be heard because the sound is newly created. So what is it? Because it is something that should be heard, even if the newly created thing exists, the sound itself will become permanent, so this answer is not related to the previous point of view. Saying "this is true" is to establish creation. Here, uncertainty is argued in two ways. Is it through the same kind that it is strongly shown that there is also a reason in the opposite kind, or through the opposite kind, when the object to be proven is reversed, it is shown that the reason is not reversed. On this, if we say that the thing as a dharma nature is uncertain through the same kind, then this is true. There is no dharma nature, etc., it is not that it is not seen, etc., this answer is not related to the previous point of view. It is not stated through the same kind, so what is it? It is through the opposite kind that the opponent states that the sound is permanent through illegality, etc. On this, if it is necessary to show that there is no reason when there is no object to be proven, then illegality, that is, when the object to be proven, permanence, does not exist, it is also not non-existent, therefore it is uncertain. If you say so, it is unreasonable, because saying so, there is no dharma nature, etc., in the wind of wind movement, etc., it is not that impermanence is not seen. Because illegality and impermanence are seen once in the wind of wind movement, etc., so when the object to be proven is reversed, the reason

This refers to the meaning of 'not the opposite.' Regarding this, the teacher said, 'This exists,' and so on. Following is pervasion. Its opposite is that by means of similarity, the reason is to be established, and by means of dissimilarity, if the proposition does not exist, then the reason does not exist. In terms of the types of following, if those two examples are stated, in this kind of separate establishment, then, the argument is not established, because the characteristic is not stated. Or, showing the connection of those or its dissimilar aspects, from the word 'example,' it is also combined like the characteristic. What is said is that it is said there: From similarity and dissimilarity, if inferring permanence, hearing that some are permanent, and some are not heard, it is also not seen that it is necessarily impermanent. Therefore, this is reversed. To show that it is unreasonable, (the text) says, 'That, here,' and so on. Sound is permanent because it is audible. Seeing that what is not audible is impermanent, like a pot, this is only an example of dissimilarity. Therefore, permanence can be established. 'Like this' means that by what means is it shown that the dissimilar aspect of the reason exists only in the dissimilar aspect of the proposition, you want to combine dissimilarity. Like that, electricity is permanent because it is not newly produced, this as the establisher has no fault. How is it? (The text) says, 'Not newly produced, is seen,' and so on. The opponent argues that there is only no reason, because clinging to what did not exist before arising as the establisher, it is said that the reason and the proposition have no difference. The opponent says that neither is completely non-existent. Even so, it can only be argued that there is no reason, because there is no difference from the proposition. Therefore, it is reversed.
