Because there is not, therefore saying it is another fault is not a reversal. Similarly, for those that are the same in that agreement and disagreement are not reasons, because there is no reversal, one should state another fault from the reversal itself, because it is a slander of all reasons. Arguing that it is non-existent itself is not to manifestly state it as a reversal. Even if it changes in that way, the previous proponent states that what is known is stated as a reason, and then refutes by imputing it to the opponent. Therefore, it is stated as a reversal, because it argues against the cause of knowledge. Therefore, it is said, "This is also not," etc. This is also a sophist who, for the sake of generating the meaning of the pledge, does not speak of faults in the cause of the agent, but what then? Only in the cause of knowing. From what? Because for that, that is, for knowing, when what should agree does not agree, it is only a fault connection, for if this reason agrees and establishes, it will become non-different from what is to be established, etc., what is said is this. The object is also the same, etc. The opponent says that this is not a reason for impermanence itself, because impermanence is established from other things such as lightning, etc., from the very nature of the manifest, etc. When this is said, the debater says to establish. We do not say that impermanence is established only by the very fact of just arising, and not in any other way. If there is another knower, then we are happy, because this is a reversal, wanting to say that because it is only just arising, it is only impermanent, because it is imputed that because it is only just arising, it is impermanent. From this it is said, "This is also not a reversal," why? It is said, "The opponent is like this," etc. Because the opponent does not argue in this way that there is another reason for impermanence itself, but what then? Showing confusion, it is said that it is not a reason itself, because even without this, what is to be established can be established, so this is not a reason. That is confusion.

It is said that it is a refutation, such as "that is not that," etc. If so, will this become an answer? If it is stated immediately in the manner of stating that it is not a reason. Otherwise, from the previous position of "sound is impermanent because it arises immediately after effort," it will become stating another position, such as "lightning, etc., are impermanent because they are perceptible to the eye." Therefore, since there is no appearance of refutation, it will not become a reversed answer. Secondly, it is also not a reversed reason. Why? Because it is only argued that the reason does not pervade that, and it is not approaching to set another reason that is slightly reversed. The same doubt is also that the other party does not say that any fault that would become a reversed reason is a reversed reason, then what is it? It is fabricating what is to be proven and the reason, that is, fabricating the living being as what is to be proven, and immediately arising after effort
