Also. Even more so than that, when saying "the tree of trees," just as one understands the manifestation of "trunk," etc., in "tree," so too is the exclusion of "vase," etc. Therefore, from the general, "trunk," etc., are things that need to be clearly manifested, while "vase," etc., are distinguished by meaning, and thus this distinction is obtained. Furthermore, why does the teacher abandon the involvement of individuals who consider themselves excellent and only state the reasoning? Because those who state many things that contradict reasoning cannot truly establish the reality of things. Therefore, based on reasoning, those who wish to realize the reality of things through the involvement of individuals who consider themselves excellent should abandon it and only follow reasoning, for the purpose of exclusion. So, as stated in "If that is so," etc., even if the general sound does not appear in the particulars, since there is no exclusion, it is said that exclusion is not its cause. Because of "non-existence, possessing other, appearing," it is said to be unestablished. Through meaning and occasion, etc., "appearing," the word "etc." should be understood to include truly accompanying, etc. Among these, through the force of meaning, the general sound can understand the particulars, such as "A maiden should be given for the sake of beauty," etc. Even without words, it is established that the maiden is given only for the sake of someone with a beautiful appearance. From the tone of the words, it should be understood as "for the sake of someone extremely beautiful." Regarding occasion, for example, when a cowherd says "Bring sendhava" while eating, it will only be understood as salt. Through truly accompanying, for example, when saying "Bring the cow with the calf," it is like only understanding it as a cow. Thus, this is appearance of doubt. In this way, another reason is given for the general sound appearing in the particulars. For black sweetness, etc., it is the cause of doubt of the form of the previous seer. This shows that whatever is the cause of doubt of the form of its particulars is the previous seer of its particulars, just like standing, the general.

Sound is also said to be of such nature. Then, isn't it uncertain by the very act of listening? This is not seen anywhere, and is it also the cause of doubt? This is not the case, because for the sake of listening, its own characteristic is only the nature of the distinction of what is to be heard, and only that is seen in it. For those who have not seen, the meanings of words such as examination are not its characteristics, so this should not be argued. If the general nature exists, then this distinction should also be observed, and that is obtained from the aspect of the general word. If it is said that doubt is not appropriate, then if that word is combined with meaning and occasion, etc., it will not become the cause of doubt, just like a branch with a crow perched on it. There is also doubt, so how to approach one's own characteristics? Even if it is not combined with meaning, etc., it is thought that the argument is contradictory. From certainty, only that is it, etc., it is not to be said as doubt from being together with characteristics, but what is it? From the general word together with meaning and occasion, etc., after the characteristics such as trees and meat are determined, later only is doubt about the characteristics. Therefore, at the time of approaching together with meaning, etc., the cause of doubt does not arise. Whenever it is the cause of doubt, it is because it is determined to be together with meaning, etc., so there is no contradiction, this is what is to be shown. If there is no only on the characteristics, then only is not combined with the characteristics, because it does not express it, just like other words. Not combining is also not appropriate as the cause of doubt, that is what is said. Even so, the cause of doubt with the aspect of one's own characteristics is not established. Seeing depends on hearing, this is the answer. Or, when there is not, is it combined by relying on the listener? It is said, whenever, etc., whenever the listener doubts the nature of the tree, he will understand any general nature such as the nature arising from the earth.
