It should be shown that it is uncertain because of the doubt that the reason exists there. Saying "exists in other or contradictory places" and saying "uncertain" is not what should be shown. Saying "even if it has other dharmas" is meant. Here too, it should be known that because there is nothing to be established, it is appropriate, so rely on it to understand other meanings. Contradiction refers to what the opponent considers to be established. From where does this come? It comes from the power of taking and rejecting separately. If one also wants to say that contradiction is said in reliance on not needing to be established, then it is only necessary to say "not in other places." In this way, apart from not needing to be established, there is something to be established, that is, only what contradicts not needing to be established. Therefore, only with the phrase "not in other places," the meaning to be understood by the phrase "in contradictory places" has already been understood. If this becomes something that should not be said, then saying it is also possible, because contradiction can be inferred based on what needs to be established. Here, for what is not clearly considered to be the cause of the other's correct cognition, it should be said to be uncertain, or contradictory. For the former, it should not be clearly shown that "apart from not needing to be established, there is something to be established, which also exists in places with other dharmas" is uncertain. Then what should be done? Because it also exists in places where there is no need to establish, or there is doubt that it exists there. For the latter, it should not be shown that "what contradicts what needs to be established also exists in places with other dharmas" is uncertain, but it should be shown that the reason for the contradiction, that is, what needs to be established, also exists where it does not exist, or there is doubt that it exists there. After doing this, because it is not clearly shown that the reason does not exist in places where there is no need to establish, there is doubt that it is uncertain. Because it also exists in places with other dharmas, but it does not only exist in similar instances, therefore the phrase "constant is not produced by effort" should use this combination of dissimilar dharmas to clearly show that the reason does not exist in impermanent places, but not only in impermanent places with other dharmas, this is meant. How can it be shown again? The answer is, the state of just arising is
