If, merely by negation, one clings to it as an imputation, then in oneness, if one definitively clings to one extreme, then even among those possessing origination, duration, cessation, etc., with a prior limit, it has not been seen. Such negation, it is said, obtains the common characteristic and the particular characteristic. Viewing it in this way, one cannot escape the downfall of undesirability. If one follows along, then one will establish faults such as the nature of various kinds. Why? Because it is said for that reason, "Not that," etc. "That" refers to following along and the nature of various kinds. Whenever one desires to follow along with one extreme, then for those possessing various kinds of nature, following along will become a different entity. Whenever one desires one extreme of various kinds of nature, then for those possessing following along, possessing various kinds of nature will be a different entity, because their respective natures are extremely incompatible. Whenever, for the various particulars, following along is not unique, and the nature of various kinds is also not unique, then it is not reasonable for them to become different entities. Thus, the phenomena possessing common and particular characteristics will become the fault of being only one. If so, how can it become the fault of negation? It is said, "Transformation," etc. Those that are not different entities are not those with a prior limit of origination, duration, cessation, etc. If so, what? Those with a prior limit of one cause. This is the definitive clinging to uniqueness. If one negates that, if there is no prior limit of one, then the elimination will become the fault of being a different entity. For example, all phenomena that are made are unique in their impermanence. If sound is a negation of impermanence, then it will become the fault of being unmade. Likewise, in the negation of complete imputation, it is not spoken of as it is. This does not arise from nothing, but appears from the complete remainder. This arises only from the principal one. Thus, the complete remainder is the intention of the kind. In this way, etc., in this way, in the negation of complete imputation, this clarifies the meaning, that by those of one kind, one can infer that they are of one prior limit. Thus, those that are not different entities are those of one prior limit.

Now, let's elaborate on the singularity. The so-called "non-existent prior nature," etc., refers to the absence of a singular prior nature. If there is no singular prior nature, then it is reasonable to infer that it is different from the complete remainder, because it alone is the object of the complete remainder. If the singular prior nature cannot be inferred from the complete remainder, it is because the argument does not help. If it is said that manifestation arises from non-existence, then because there is no place of origin, it will become different. Because the accompanying argument does not provide any help. From "and also" etc., it can also be shown that things that do not possess various forms are not different, and the word "that" in it indicates tending towards the accompanying "also." If manifestation arises from non-existence, then because there is no place of origin, it will be inferred to be different. But there is no difference, so what is it? It is the same kind that completely accompanies. Therefore, because the same kind accompanies, the meaning of "the singular prior cause is manifestation" etc., arises approximately through inference and refutation. Therefore, things that possess various forms and those that come after being excluded are not different, because the linguistic meanings of the two are the same. Therefore, what is said again is that, like this, after fully grasping the main part of these five things that possess various forms, it is unreasonable to do things that come after exclusion again. Connectives are also like this etc., to argue that the main part is the prior existence of manifestation, and to connect in this way by showing that the unwanted approaches the unwanted result. If manifestation does not arise from one, then, because there is no object of pervading action, the pervading action will be reversed. Here, the singular prior nature pervades the accompanying of the same kind, because things that possess the same kind are regarded as the singular prior nature. Non-existent prior nature is not, and Ishvara etc. are also not prior nature. Therefore, it should be said like this, "If it does not arise from one." Then, shouldn't it be said, "If it arises from non-existence?" Because there exists existent prior nature.
