It is to realize that the son and the cause are of the same nature. Then, it will be said thus: Whatever possesses a certain kind of attribute is the cause of the nature of that attribute, such as fragments and so on. The special features also possess attributes such as happiness, which is the image of the fruit. But this is not so, because it follows many kinds of attributes. That is to say, the inner nature of eyes, ears, colors, sounds, etc., also possesses various attributes. Their cause is not their nature, this is certain. If it is said that one should prove that it follows everything, then, because one sees the production of fruits of various essences, the chief thing is considered to be the nature of all things. Therefore, here one should not only prove that it possesses attributes such as happiness, but one should prove that as many special features as there are that possess attributes, there are as many things that possess attributes, so that it is not uncertain. This is not so, because there is no example. If one wants to prove the cause of the special features that possess all attributes, then fragments and so on are separated from what is to be proved, so there is no example. Here it can be changed, whatever follows something is the cause of that attribute, such as fragments and so on, if it is said that only fragments and so on can be taken as examples when universally showing following, then, the answer is: because coarseness, impermanence and fruitfulness etc. also follow. That is to say, because coarseness, impermanence and fruitfulness etc. follow the special features, so one should also prove that the chief thing is their nature. From the word "etc.", one can understand clarity and manifestation etc. They are also not its form, because they are not related to other things that have form. That is to say, to other things that have form, namely measure, the nature of various shapes, the substance of fruit and cause, and the nature of entering with ability etc. Whatever is taken as a reason for the Dharma of special features, that is because following the chief thing is not allowed. That is its meaning. There are ten for the chief thing

Sound and other measures are not valid, because they are asserted to be one. Various forms are also not valid, because they are formless and because they are one. The result itself is also not valid, because it is the nature of a cause. The entry of power is also not valid, because it is without beginning. Therefore, for those who are endowed, it is not appropriate to accomplish the subsequent others, so this is not to be accomplished. From what difference is the doctrine of these things that are closely taken as different? Because of the nature of having treatises and not having treatises. The coarse and others are those that do not have treatises. Measures and others are taken as different because they have the nature of having treatises. Because there is no following of the same kind, it is said that happiness and others are of the nature of being mental. The following of the nature of its own nature is not present in all differences. If so, then sound, touch, form, taste, and smell, these five, are the differences in the arrangement of happiness, suffering, and ignorance, these three. Why is it that the five and the five do not have the same result? In the treatise that says this, only what is established as a valid reason is unestablished. Thus, whatever has the same result is having the same kind of following. Just as with pieces and so on, so too with sound and so on. Thus, the means of accomplishment is refuted. Therefore, is there no unestablishedness? It is said, "Why is it that the result is one?" and so on. The sound and other results of those are not different, that is, courage, dust, and darkness, those that enter into mutually beneficial things, are established as the nature of sound and so on. Sound and so on are said to be one result. There is also no following of the same kind for courage and others, because they are extremely different. Even in the world, although there is no following of the same kind for the eye, form, light, and attention, the result of consciousness and so on is one. Therefore, also because of uncertainty, the same kind of following
