It is that which enables the mind to distinguish the meaning of what is said as the nature of being established. If it is said that the establishment of speech is the gateway to meaning, but not its own nature, then it is said: 'Everything is only,' etc. If it is said that this possessor of remainder, because it is the reason for understanding all objects beyond the senses, is the establisher, is its word the reason? This is unreasonable, because the aggregation of all limbs is the very nature of possessing remainder. For example, it is said: 'For example,' etc. This example of definite display, here, should either rely on the basis of what is to be established, that is, where is it definitely shown what is to be established and what is to be established? Or it should be the agent, that is, these are definitely shown by this. Among them, in the first observation, because it does not pervade the signified of manifest desire, it is said to show that its nature is not pervasive. If there is, it is said that the fault of other metaphors is spoken of after admitting that what is to be established and what is to be established follow. Because there is no following, it means that what is to be established pervades what is to be established, which is to show the following closely, but here it is said that what is to be established pervades what is to be established, that is, in the world, among the differences of things that have a general antecedent, one sees a class of things that truly follow. Such a thing is not the meaning of establishing. It is the reason for the simile. Because the following is reversed, there is no benefit to the establisher, because it cannot show the nature of not arising without it. The decay of the limb of speech means that the meaning of the complete nature of speech should not be the limb, because one does not want to say all the different gates together, as has already been said. In the second distinction, it is said for the sake of understanding the fault, that is, how, etc. If it is said that only what is said is not, that is, if there is nothing in the meaning of such a transformation, then speech is not the fruit of understanding that meaning. Say: 'No,' etc. Should not be placed near

'Class' refers to the nature of unifying what is to be established (the thesis) and the example. However, these examples of (the thesis) themselves are not reasonable. For example, statements like 'wooden pieces, tiles, skulls, utensils, ornaments, etc.' are not reasonable. Therefore, the main (thesis) etc. are to be established. Thus, the definition of a limb is that the main (thesis) actually exists, and it does not stop at the level of 'the main (thesis) exists.' For the main (thesis) to be established, the example and the approximate summary are not related in any way. Therefore, 'determining what is to be established (the thesis) is the proposition' is the definition of the proposition. It is also not known whether the main (thesis) is considered to be the nature of the moon. 'Showing its example' is the definition of the example, and 'making them one' is the definition of the approximate summary. It has been understood that neither of these exists here. Then, isn't this gate of reasoning close to establishing (the thesis)? If asked why the previous fault occurs, the answer is: 'The aspect of the gate of reasoning is,' that is, it does not actually establish the main (thesis), but establishes it through meaning. In fact, only the characteristics are to be established. Only the characteristics are to be established there as having the same cause, therefore it is said to be an 'aspect.' When these (characteristics) are to be established, as has been said, the combination of limbs will become relevant, just become relevant. The word 'just' is to distinguish the meaning that the limb itself has no fault. 'It will contradict the meaning of the proposition' means that it speaks of something that contradicts the commitment. If asked what contradicts the meaning of the proposition, the answer is: 'The characteristics have the same cause.' If asked why it is a fault of the proposition, the answer is: 'Of wooden pieces etc.,' etc., that is, if it becomes the characteristic of wooden pieces, tiles, skulls, utensils, ornaments, etc., then it is committed that wood, bottles, lumps of earth, and gold etc. have multiple causes. Because it excludes having a single cause, it contradicts the meaning of the proposition. Even so, it should be committed that only the characteristics of the inner self have a single cause, not the external forms.
