Nor is it. Therefore, at that time, this becomes only the reason, because it is the opposite of impermanence, and by excluding it, it makes people understand permanence. If, for this, the reason of impermanence itself does not show in a special way, then it should be connected by saying that it also becomes the reason itself. Because contradictions cannot be the same in meaning. Contradictions, namely permanence and impermanence, cannot exist on one object. Contradiction itself is also because they have the characteristic of existing by mutually excluding each other. Because the meaning of one of the contradictions is impossible, so it is the others. Not one, then contradiction is possible, for example, space is permanent, a vase is impermanent, like that. For one, it is not. Therefore, it becomes doubt, like two words expressing contradictory meanings. If it is the cause of doubt, then how should certainty arise from this? "Here also" and so on. The word "here" indicates the general object of non-deceptive contradiction, not just this one. A scripture that is not deceptive by direct perception is a scripture of direct perception, deleting the words in between is like the king of leaves and a vajra finger ring. Mentioning direct perception is to indicate the meaning of valid cognition, a scripture that is not deceptive by valid cognition is because it has the meaning of having power. This shows that by the power of the sign established by scripture, speaking of non-deceptive contradiction, and only through these also admitting that scripture has power, and having power again comes from valid cognition following it, therefore, certainty should be sought from that valid cognition. Through its words, even if it becomes a quality, it is approaching valid cognition. Or only from that, that is, from the scripture that is not deceptive by valid cognition, certainty should be sought. Saying it like that will also express in meaning that certainty should be sought only from valid cognition. In the concluding verse, "of which" and "of which", here one more should be looked at, for the meaning of equal number. Uncommon is the cause of all doubts. Common is the dharma of permanence and so on. Non-deceptive contradiction

Again, what is meant by "aspect"? As for the others, how can they be reasonably combined in a way that is neither more nor less? Here, only the two aspects of the subject (pakṣa-dharma) are explained as seemingly valid reasons, namely, the cause of doubt and the cause of reversal. The others also explain things like being accompanied by confusion. Because they are not mentioned, it may be suspected that they are not completely included in what has been mentioned. Therefore, in order to eliminate this misunderstanding, it is said, "From seeing the aspect of the subject," and so on. The meaning of this is: if the desire of someone who wants to know something from seeing the aspect of the subject is not fulfilled, then from what will reversal be obtained, or doubt be obtained? The word "and" here has the meaning of necessarily grasping, and also indicates different orders. Only reversal and doubt are obtained; there is no other kind. If, in that case, things like being accompanied by confusion cause doubt, then they are certainly included in the category of certainty. And if it is reversal, then it is the reason for reversal. If neither arises, then they will not become seemingly valid reasons, but like the mark of correct knowledge. Therefore, there are no seemingly valid reasons with the aspect of the subject other than contradiction and uncertainty. Then, what is "what"? If there are only two seemingly valid reasons with the aspect of the subject, then how should one explain the contradiction that is considered to harm the desired? Is it a reason for reversal, or is it a reason for doubt? This is thinking that it cannot be expressed in both ways. If it is so, and so on, if this becomes a reason for reversal, then reversal will be established, but it is not so. Therefore, this is not a reason for reversal. Here, someone thinks that only the statement itself needs to be established, to which he replies for the time being: because there is a reason for the benefit of others. For example, and so on, an example is given to clarify this. Stating the dissimilar, that is, stating, the statement is an example, because it is used to state, and it brings the example closer, that is its function. The dissimilarity is because it is not similar to the example.
