Refuting, slightly agreeing. As many as there are, all can be known, and one is able to closely connect only with that. How can one understand the specifics of what is to be proven? If one says that, then when analyzing, isn't the so-called "desire" a statement with an object of something that has already occurred? If so, when analyzing unestablished reasons and so on, it is not a desire either, so that is not the sect itself. So, why would this become a fault? This is not an answer, because in that way, since it is related to the cause of actions that have the three times as their object, the word "sect" does not only apply to the past tense. This has already been explained. Therefore, when analyzing, the word "sect" also applies to what will become desire. Because it is related to the end of the action, it also applies to what will become desire, and this is also shown. "Ability" and so on. For those who are reasonable, and so on, here, because it contradicts its meaning, starting from an approximate imputation, it is said to be a contradictory commitment. If everything is impermanent, then since sound is included in everything, it contradicts permanence. If one says that neither is correct, that is unreasonable or non-existent. If one asks why, the answer is, "That" and so on. This shows that if one were to state all impermanence as a reason in order to establish that sound is permanent, then at that time, since it eliminates the permanence of sound, the commitment would contradict the reason. But that is not the case, as it is said, "This" and so on. Also, if one asks why this is not a statement of reason, because for all impermanent things, from examples and similarity, it is a reason for establishing what is to be established, and similarly, from dissimilarity as well. The definition of reason is unreasonable, because in that way, one only states the contradictory dharma, namely permanence, on the difference of sound, and then asks why everything is impermanent? In everything, the impermanence that is to be universally established does not depend on sound. Because for the difference that is made, later establishing the universality does not pervade that difference, but it is timely.

Because it abandons distinctions, it includes everything. For example, when giving dara to the son of Kundina and giving yogurt to the Brahmins, it is not giving yogurt to the son of Kundina. What is it then? It is giving to the Brahmins who are different from him. It is the same here. Therefore, because sound does not possess the nature of everything being impermanent, it is either similar or dissimilar to some examples, or neither similar nor dissimilar to examples, but it is desired to prove the object of proof through similarity or dissimilarity to examples. Therefore, the definition of reasoning is unreasonable. According to our view, the definition of reasoning is also unreasonable because there is no pervasion. However, saying "establishing an example through dissimilarity" means relying slightly on its definition, which is his intention. Therefore, for sounds that are not everything, and for everything like pots, there is dissimilarity to everything, and it is thought that from the dissimilarity of the object of proof, a dissimilar example can also be derived. An example that understands its nature from the similarity of the object of proof is an example, and similarly, it is said that it can also be derived from dissimilarity. Through the example of dissimilarity, it can also be explained that the simultaneous occurrence of the dissimilar aspects of the object of proof and the reasoning that you speak of only exists here. Therefore, when it is said, "Sound is permanent, because everything is impermanent," one can understand the simultaneous occurrence of the dissimilar aspects of permanence and non-everything, because one can understand that everything is impermanent. Therefore, saying "This is the establishment of an example of dissimilarity" is valid. Among them, through "For it also," etc., it shows that the other party has not studied well, because "because everything is impermanent" here, it is easy to understand that the sound of impermanence is included in the absence of permanence. Here, it explains that only the sound of everything is included in the reasoning of the absence of everything. Through the phrase "because there is no non-everything," it shows this, that the sound of everything here approximately represents the absence of non-everything, all objects are non-objects of the object-possessor.
