If, in order to make the other person understand, one does not say even a little, that is also speaking. Therefore, language is spoken as something that accomplishes the understanding of the other person, so it is accepted as valid cognition, and therefore, through the speech that makes one understand that it itself is valid cognition, the commitment of non-valid cognition is eliminated. Regarding contradiction with scripture, this explanation only shows a part, because it is not that one understands without doubt that it is valid cognition merely by relying on the power of the treatise. What then? After understanding the meaning of some knowledge, also from experiencing without being deceived in practical action, such forms that have not been experienced, one can fully see the meaningful things to be proven, and they too can be understood as being of that nature, that is, as valid cognition. Among these, when one abandons the valid cognitions that are fully established in the treatise that has been promised, then this becomes an example of contradicting the treatise. When the treatise is understood as being valid cognition by relying on the path, then this is not suitable to be spoken of as an example of contradicting scripture. Therefore, regarding the harm to the promise, this is said to be only a partial explanation. A clear example of this is: Dharma does not give happiness in the next life. Thus, Dharma is the subject established by the treatise, and for it, one must prove that it does not give happiness, but in the treatise, it is seen as giving happiness, this is the harm. If scripture and one's own words only slightly conflict, then what is the difference between these? There is no difference. If there is no difference, then why are these spoken of separately in the path of reason? This is due to the distinction of language, one's self, merely through the other language of the other person's path, separately establishes some meanings, and then the same thing is destroyed by the later one, so it is contradicting scripture, for example, the Uluka school says that sound is permanent. If it itself contradicts its own meaning, then that is contradicting one's own words, for example, saying that inference is not valid cognition, and that everything spoken is a lie, and so on. In anything, etc., using well-known things to illustrate harm. Here is rabbit

"It is not the moon" is the proposition. The meaning here is that there is no such thing as being expressed as a moon with a rabbit. Moreover, since it arises from sound, it is eliminated by the meaning that contradicts complete establishment. What arises from sound is the subsequent thought called "fame." Thus, complete establishment and certainty are completely established by arising from sound. Also, another meaning of this itself should be known: terms with sound causes, such as "moon, moon," arise from sound. From this, the dharma with the characteristic of being expressible by the desired sound, which is completely established and arises, is completely established from arising from sound. The word "completely" is taken to mean that it is understood as the most extreme establishment. The most extreme is because it is established in all things. Therefore, it will be said that whatever dharma arises from the words of sound, determined by the subsequent thought called "fame," has the nature as described and it will harm. Because it is uncommon, etc., the reason for harming, such as existence, is uncommon. Therefore, there is no subsequent thought, and even if the suitability of the desired sound is abandoned, existence, which has the nature of arising in all things, does not follow. There, it becomes important for other characteristics to follow. Therefore, understanding that all kinds of reasons here are uncommon is the result of existence as an example on the reason. If so, then the existence in the non-moon, which is a similar example such as a pot, follows. So how is this uncommon? That does not exist, because the expressible nature of the desired sound arises in all things. Thus, the suitability of both agreed and unagreed sounds is everything. Because it enters only by desire. All sounds are related to the suitability of sound only by the power of the suitability of sound. Whenever one wants to connect which sound with which thing, only at that time can one connect it with that. For pots and so on, the expressible nature of the desired sound is also completely established.
