If the sound of intention is allowed to be added only at the time of occurrence, then it would change like that. But that is not allowed, because it is related to things that have the three times as their object and have the edge of action. For example, like saying "Devadatta has come to be seen." Therefore, here it is not connected with the accomplished fruit of the arrow. Therefore, when stating unestablished reasons, etc., if the other party raises objections, then it is also possible to show that it is precisely what is to be established, and therefore, it will also become a sectarian position. Therefore, in order to dispel it, the particle of the word is stated. "Not relying on treatises" means not relying on treatises. "Taken by..." means the meaning of establishing a thesis. "That should be promised" means promising. Then, doesn't this "own intention" sever all other intentions by making one understand that only what the opponent himself intends is to be established? Therefore, it can be said that this "own intention" shows a promise that does not rely on all other intentions. Then, what is it that states that this "own intention" shows a promise that does not rely on treatises? It should be said that here, when promising a treatise, if many treatises are divided, even if the divider manifestly intends many things for one subject, such as the qualities of space, etc., even so, it is only what the establisher himself wants to establish, such as impermanence, etc., that is to be established, and not the others. In order to show this meaning, "own" is stated. Therefore, even if it dispels all other intentions, it is said in this way in order to show its function of dispelling only the place of doubt. Because of promising the treatise, there will be doubt that everything seen there must be established, and some people think that what is seen in the treatise is only what is to be established, and even if it harms it, it is the fault of the reason and the thesis. This inverted understanding is also only what is seen, only the attachment to those sounds.
