Therefore, it is only 'ra' itself that needs to be definitively established through reasoning. Because a thorough examination by other means is not possible, its characteristics should be explained. If it is thought that only this way can be established through reasoning, otherwise it is impossible to know, then that is your idea. Therefore, it is explained here in a concise way. Because in many people, a mistaken understanding with the object to be proven as the object can be seen. Therefore, in order to eliminate this error, the characteristics of the thesis are explained in the treatise. But when combining, there is no need to explain it, because it is not urgently needed. If someone tries very hard to explain it, then it should be explained like this, which is what is said in the teaching. Only the 'essence' and so on. Here, the essence, the connection of words, intention, and one's own peaceful words, in order, refer to the unestablished, the non-establishing, the object intended, and what the establisher wants to establish. From that, the four ways of what is to be proven will also be explained. The so-called 'not by the essence of what is established and what establishes' means that, in order, how the essence and the connection of words should be distinguished. Therefore, the unestablished is grasped by the sound of one's own essence, and what should be distinguished is the established, such as 'sound is audible'. The so-called 'only one's own essence' means that the connection of words is grasped as not establishing, and what should be distinguished is that although it is unestablished, it is considered to be establishing, such as unestablished reasons and examples, such as 'sound is permanent, because it is seen by the eye, like consciousness'. These are examples of these essences. For what has already been established, because the result of the distinction is easy to understand, it is expressed by 'the result of the distinction of what establishes, even if it is so' and so on. The so-called 'even if it is so' means that it must be grasped, meaning 'if it exists'. Similar reasons and examples are also those, and the unestablished are also, connecting the words in this way. If the statement of unestablished reasons and similar examples is completely abandoned, then there is only the proposition.

但是,由于nishtha(梵文,niṣṭhā,梵文罗马拟音,完成)的因缘是在发生的时间上确定的。

It means that it will be abandoned. Now, if one asks whether it is meaningless to mention "semblance" in order to avoid mistaking those unestablished reasons and examples for mere appearances, if one wishes to elaborate on the particular by expressing the general, then it is pointless to proceed beforehand when the particular is manifested. When the general is manifested, it is pointless to add the word "general" in order to avoid mistaking the particular for the general. When elaborating on the general, if the particular is manifested, then it is necessary to distinguish in order to avoid mistaking the general for the particular. Therefore, it becomes meaningful to diligently add the words of the particular in order to distinguish other particulars. Here, too, it is not meaningless because one intends to express the particular of the characteristic of being unestablished in the case of the general, which is the characteristic of being a semblance of reason and example. If one wishes to express the particular when approaching the general, then the word for the general will be added first, if one asks. It is not so, because the commentary has been made in order. For language, the words that one wishes to express are subsequently proven, and through the treatise "the collection of words is prior after approaching transformation," the certainty of the former and the latter is inevitable. If one still wishes to express the particular when approaching the general, even then, only the words of the particular will be added first. If that happens, there will be no fault of not adding the word for the general. Since everything is the same word, it is also inappropriate to diligently add only a part of the word, just like nature and condition, this interjection is sufficient. Those that need to be shown by way of establishment are not to be shown, that is, because even unestablished things are manifested as established things. Now, here, if the opponent himself wants the thing to be established as the thesis, and the unestablished proof, at that time, he does not consider that to be the thing to be established by it, but he will want to establish it. However, since the condition of nishtha (梵文,niṣṭhā,梵文罗马拟音,accomplished) is certain at the time of occurrence. Understanding the meaning to be determined is only through expressing one's own intention. Therefore, the word "only" is meaningless, if one asks. If...
