It is said that this is because it was taken from those who have obstacles. "By the object of what is to be clarified and what clarifies." If, by the object of what is to be clarified and what clarifies, one wants the object of reason and what has reason, then from that object of reason and what has reason, it should not be said that only the single clarifying object is meant. Why is that? It is said, "Those seven," meaning that the object of what is to be known and what knows is the object of what is to be clarified and what clarifies, and also the seven relationships understand what is to be inferred. Therefore, it should be acknowledged that only those seven aspects are meant. Otherwise, the other aspects would become non-clarifying. Therefore, "because it is different" means because it is other than the object of reason and what has reason. "It has already been said before," meaning that because it is understood from others, it is meaningless. This explains that this meaning has already been explained before. One should also not say "the object of reason and what has reason," because if both reason and what has reason become knowable, then it would be reasonable to say that. But it is not that both are knowable, but only what has reason. This is shown because what manifests here is what is called "reason-ness." Here, for the terms of inference and what is to be inferred, only reason-ness is what manifests. Then, what is this so-called "reason-ness"? Reason, such as smoke, etc., for what is to be proven by itself, does not arise if it is absent, that is, the reason for complete entry, by which reason the word of reason completely enters it, that is reason-ness. It is not reason-ness. It is said that this should be connected with "manifesting." Here, the part of what is to be proven, whatever is knowable, that is what has reason. Again, why is what has reason not clarifying? It is said, "Because it is what is to be clarified," meaning because it is what is to be proven. Establishment becomes knowable, but it is not what is to be proven. Therefore, only "the object of reason" should be said.

It is not said "cause and object of cause". Here it changes. The entity of cause and effect is not to be understood as the entity of cause and effect. If it is to be understood in that way, then mentioning the effect becomes meaningless, because it is only the entity of the cause that is understood. How is it then? It is said that the cause has an effect and exists. That is, if it does not exist, it will not arise. From this, it is clearly stated that it is the cause of accomplishing what is to be accomplished, and it is also a condition. When only "cause exists" is to be said, if it is not with something, it is not known what is the characteristic of "cause exists, without which it will not arise". Therefore, is the sound of cause approached in order to understand the partner of each combination? This is not the case, because the cause must depend on the effect. Even if it is not said that way, the partner of each combination can be understood, so saying the effect is meaningless. What is said as "whatever is said" is shown by refuting other views. The objects that are used together are those that follow, etc., and if the main one does not exist, it does not exist. By saying "objects that are used together", the followers, etc., cannot understand the meaning beyond the senses, such as the main one. The reasoning explained in the treatises that understand things beyond the senses is also an inference with remainder. The relationship of objects used together, such as the main one and the followers, etc., is not reasonable to consider this as having a remainder. Objects used together are not objects of result and cause, because the difference has been definitely shown. Furthermore, two different existences can become objects used together, like Durpa (a kind of plant). Result and cause cannot exist simultaneously, because the cause does not appear at the time of the result. Therefore, how can the meaning beyond the senses be understood from that object used together? How can the followers, etc., understand the meaning beyond the senses?
