That is not slightly dependent, why would it be incomplete? The second case is also not, because it would lead to the fault of being constantly existent. Because the cause is incomplete, the results are also non-existent. What is the non-existence of the incomplete cause, why should it be said that it will not change? The third case is also not. Why? Because that does not exist, because the constantly existent itself does not exist. The consciousness school says constant etc., is to explain that that does not exist, this explains that the proposition contradicts the direct perception. Earth etc. are to eliminate the fourth case, earth is earth. Just like the aspect arising from the constant Ishvara etc. cause, here also there is the same fault. Just like this, others think that the four great elements are of a solid nature, relying on the cause of acting together, gradually arising from the constant, it is also unreasonable to say so, because the constant does not depend on help, this has been roughly analyzed. Also, because they are afraid of the faults mentioned earlier, others, that is, the Lokayatas, also admit that these four great elements are momentary, even so it is faulty, they think so. Just like this, for the time being, what is used to establish its name? Body and mind etc., for the establishment of the cause and effect things, there is not the slightest valid cognition. Combination is, where in order to establish a certain thing, there is not the slightest valid cognition, that is not named with having conceptual thought, just like naming fire as cold. For body and mind etc., there is also not the slightest valid cognition to establish cause and effect, this is the universal non-apprehension. The reason is also not unestablished, just like this, what establishes cause and effect is direct perception and non-apprehension. That is also determined from the following or returning of having characteristics, not just determined by seeing and not seeing. Therefore, to determine the result from the following, if someone observes, they will rely on the situation where the former, which becomes the characteristic of observation, is observed when it is observed, but it is not so.

Indeed. If the non-apprehension (of an object) that has become the characteristic of an object of focus does not depend on such a thing, then, for it, does the result exist from the beginning, or does it come from another place, or those walls and fences, etc., that exist before the cause, those being the cause will not be prevented. By closely pointing out the non-apprehension that has become the characteristic of an object of focus, it will be prevented, because it is not mistaken from that (cause). Thus, for the time being, the result is certain from following. Also, to ascertain the result from reversal, even if there are other causal factors of ability, one should rely on such a thing as "if one does not exist, it will not arise." If it is not so, merely establishing that "if it does not exist, it will not arise" will cause doubt about its ability here, because it also has other abilities. It is so, and it may be so, for it the ability is other, because without it, it does not arise. Whatever is reversed in this case, the reversal of the object of focus is arbitrarily infallible, because hail that arises in a place where a wife is obtained does not exist in another place where a wife is not obtained. Therefore, even if there is ability, it should be distinguished, so that it is certain that it itself is the cause, because it follows the reversal. What does not benefit has no following of reversal, because it would become too extreme. Thus, through following and reversal, it is undoubtedly certain that it is cause and effect, and not otherwise. For those, such a certainty of following or reversal never exists, for example, for the time being, one's own body and mind cannot be certain of following, because before being born from the womb, etc., no result can be apprehended, and it is also impossible to apprehend without mind, because for other bodies, mind has not become the characteristic of an object of focus, because there is no grasping of before and after, therefore following is not certain, nor is reversal certain, for it, for the time being, one's own body is reversed, and one cannot know that one's own mind is reversed, because oneself in all ways
