If someone thinks that this would lead to the same fault of infinite regress, that is also the same. Then, (the text) mentions "that is also" etc., meaning that seeing one thing, that is also established by oneself, that is, by the autonomous one, and not by others, therefore it will not fall into the fault of infinite regress etc. Why is that? Because it is not based on one's own nature, that is, not based on the nature of materiality. If someone asks, what is wrong with being established by other wisdom? (The text) mentions "cause" etc., meaning that some people think that wisdom should be recognized through cause, and that cause is either the nature of understanding the actions of things, or the senses and objects, or the manifested objects etc. Some people think that it is not the direct perception of other wisdom, nor is it the nature of self-awareness, because it is contradictory to act on one's own entity. Some people say that other knowledge is unreasonable, if there is no wisdom, then the meaning of knowledge will be established, because that is the essence of the nature of matter. Therefore, the third view is explained as follows: these three, namely cause etc., if each one is debated and examined, that is, where the cause etc. are established from, then it will fall into an infinite and endless state. Like this, if wisdom is not established, then these three, namely cause etc., will also not be established, because it must be admitted that it is established from others, and for that, if all the causes etc. that depend on others are debated and examined, then it will also fall into the fault of infinite regress. Therefore, by focusing on one thing, one can recognize the non-existence of other things, that is, in that place and time, for the entity that is suitable to be negated, its sameness should be negated, because other things cannot be negated there. From negating that entity, everything should be negated, because everything exists in a state of being seen as different from what is seen, because those are the entities of others. However, when it is certain that there is no moon in the sky, the so-called establishing the non-existence of other things by focusing on one thing is not focusing on one thing. Whoever sees the sky devoid of the moon, there is not the slightest existence in the ultimate truth, and whoever examines the existence of other things, that is also beyond the senses. Whoever is certain that there is no sound in a certain direction, what is that?

It is because of the object of focus. For the time being, one should not say, "It is because of the object of direction," because it is not the same as the nature of sound and suitability. Thus, the place is manifest, and the sound is auditory. The nature that is the same in suitability is also considered different in relation to each other, because it has been said that the other in relation to each other is mixed with one consciousness. One should also not say, "It is because of the object of time," because there is no time different from the object to be focused on, and what other schools accept is also beyond the senses. In response to "light and darkness," etc., what is called "aggregate" is related to what is called "reason." Because the aggregate of light and darkness is recognized by those who think, "It is space," but not by others. For example, whether it is day or night, this space is like a tall building. Or one thinks it is like a cloud. But in space, there are no other colors and shapes, etc., that are commonly measured. Therefore, what is called "other" is because there is no other commonly measured space other than the aggregate of light and darkness, and even if there is, it is beyond the senses. Being devoid of all sounds is also realized by not focusing on the consciousness of hearing the result. Not focusing is also established by other consciousnesses such as the eye correctly knowing, therefore, for this, there is also another consciousness that focuses on one with the nature of reason. If something has a result, then when it disappears, that also causes it to disappear, having a result does not pervade having sound. Because the causes are definitely not connected with it. One should not say, "All causes pervade having a result." What then? It is only a distinction of having an unobstructed nature, and that only obstructs this, but not everything. For what is established as the absence of a pot by focusing on only one direction, for that, not focusing on the pot is also said to be not focusing on the result, because by becoming the nature of the object of focus, the absence of the pot is established.
