Other realms are consciousness. Saying this, the distinction is not stated from the two sides. If so, then showing the two sides becomes meaningless. Saying "other thing" etc., the second characteristic of having no thing is said to be confusion. Also, saying "unseen" refers to what is separated by place, time, and nature. Saying "second non-thing" comes from saying "other thing is consciousness." Furthermore, if it is asserted that everything unseen has nothing to be established, then it is not so. If asked what it is, it is said that it has the nature of being able, like the place of a pot etc., the nature of being able that is the same as that which is focused on. Whatever has the nature of being able is said to be the nature of being focused on. This is the meaning of the phrase. "By that, one knows emptiness" means when one knows the empty place by a pot etc. "If so" etc. is to answer. That which is able to be seen, if there is an appearance of a thing that becomes the nature of being focused on, that is such. This is the appearance of a thing that is able to be seen, and it is also direct perception, which is the one who holds the task. Saying "not by others" means not by inference etc., because the object of those is the hidden meaning. If it turns to that, then the hidden one separated by place, time, and nature is also not turning. Therefore, the turning of those is confused. Thus, direct perception etc. is not born, saying these etc. becomes meaningless. Furthermore, if it is certain that one knows a thing other than that, then in that way, it is established that there is no other, so it must be undoubtedly acknowledged. Otherwise, if only by being, it is established that there is no thing from that, then from the consciousness born from one person, it should also follow that it is established that there is no thing for all people. If there is a proponent who accepts that mind is not direct perception, how does he know that this consciousness arises in another thing? He cannot know it. If by understanding the meaning, it means knowing in connection with time.

Thus. As it is said, if one does not understand the meaning, wisdom will not be accomplished, therefore, one should infer wisdom from the signs of understanding the meaning, just like this. Among them, the words of the sign are to express what is incompatible with others, meaning that understanding the meaning is incompatible with others. Inference means to measure. Then, if that which is understood by meaning is also the nature of knowledge, then it should also be said from where that is realized. If it is said that what is understood by meaning comes from others, then this will be endless. Furthermore, if one admits that non-things themselves are things, then at that time, just as the measure of non-things is a thing, so is the measurable of non-things, therefore, because non-things themselves are things, why not admit it as direct perception? In order to realize through it, the non-thing is realized as another measure. As it is said, effects and other non-things are causes and other things, as it is said. "Effects and other non-things," etc., establishes that which is included in direct perception. Because the nature of causes and other things that are separated from others is also the nature of being separated from effects and other things, it is direct perception itself. What will become another measure? There is no other measurable of non-things. The combination is, if there is something that does not have a measurable separated from something, then it is not another measure from there, just like the seventh measure. For non-things, there is also no measurable separated from the measurable of direct perception, which refers to the universally applicable situation. In order to illustrate this point, others have proved that the reason is not established. It is said "one's own side" etc., if it only becomes the nature of one thing, then non-existence will become the measurable, because one's own nature and the nature of others are, in order, the nature of two things that are the nature of existence and non-existence. That which abides in the nature of two things, its nature, that is, its own nature, can be understood by some measures, but not all by all. In order to show that
