Arising is definite, because it is a matter of cause and effect, or, from determining self-nature, it is definite that if there is no, then there is no arising. It is not unseen, not seen. As it is said. Here, there is also no connection of its own nature and arising from it. Thinking like this, there is no confusion of the extremely distinct constant dharma, why is this? If you think that there is no reason for this. Then say cause and self-nature etc. The sign is only two kinds, namely self-nature and fruit. Non-perception is included in self-nature. Starting from here, the signs of self-nature and cause that are confused by them, without these, these signs cannot exist. Why can't it exist? Answer: It will become different and without cause, obtaining difference and without cause, the reason of self-nature will become different, it will become non-self-nature. The reason of the fruit will become without cause, it will become causelessness. Other signs other than self-nature and fruit are not allowed, because others have no connection, because if there is no, then there is no arising, because it cannot contain fire. If they are not, it refers to self-nature and fruit, this is the boundary of the word of two. Inference for the sake of others is not inference, as it is said, then say the sign of the three aspects and so on. Because it is the inference of other words, whoever exists, is dependent on the questioner, therefore, the fault arising from depending on the speaker will not become a fault. Depending on the listener, it is also because it can show the sign of the three aspects, because it is the cause of the approximate establishment of inference. It is said to be inference in name, because it is the application of the name of inference that shows the ability. Therefore, the knowledge of the senses and the connection of if there is no, then there is no arising, will become the inference of other meanings, so it will not be too much. Because they have no ability to show. Precisely because of this, from this knowledge based on what is seen

This is the difference. Like this, visual consciousness can understand signs of things, such as smoke, but auditory consciousness cannot. Therefore, it directly grasps the sound itself, and the sound, like smoke, does not depend on external things; it is not other. Because the connection between what is intended to be expressed and the external is not yet established. That is because the signs of smoke and so on are merely indicators, and by the power of symbols, they generate such definite conceptualizations. Therefore, relying on external things, they merely express like the things of others. What is intended to be expressed is understood by relying on the listener; it is its own thing. Like this, because that is its result, just as with smoke, what is desired is that what is intended to be expressed is understood, but not merely by the expresser himself, because from it the meaning of what is known is understood. The so-called "expression is meaningless" means that inference is a valid means of cognition. This is the action. Like this, some things that should be understood are not what you intend to express with your words, which contradicts your own words, and this statement is the same as the previous one. Īśvara said: Inference, which is widely known in the world, is accepted even by foolish people. Some people transcend worldly conventions and talk about inference; this is to refute those people, so they said "worldly signs" and so on. The so-called "not other" is related to "understanding reasons, etc." By the words "result," etc., self-nature is grasped, and similarly, here, reasons, etc., also grasp only self-nature. The many words are because they are clear and distinct. The sign of connection that arises from that self-nature, by which alone worldly things can be understood, that is what we call a sign. If that is admitted, then what would become the inference that is refuted, and what would be abandoned? If someone thinks that we do not want to admit inference a little, but because others think it is a valid means of cognition, we admit it, so my statement is not meaningless, then here it is said: "Non-valid means of cognition," etc., that is, others think it is a valid means of cognition.
