Therefore, regarding the contradiction called "harming the worldly far-sighted ones," isn't it the case that the example is unestablished? Others do not consider it a valid means of generating harm to intention. In any case, harm is unestablished and not a refutation, because whatever is certain for both disputants is what establishes and refutes, according to this reasoning. If it is said that if here one considers the words of another to be valid means, even so, because non-deception cannot be denied, it is intention itself. Because of intention, it must also be acknowledged that it is valid means by virtue of the existence of things. It is by entering through the power of things that contradiction is stated, not by acting in consideration of the promises of others. Or, it is contradictory because it shows the reason to be contradictory. That contradictory reason is that whatever is non-deceptive is valid means, just like direct perception. The knowledge generated by a sign with three characteristics is also non-deceptive, which is the reason of nature. Because it will become non-existence of nature and causelessness, it is also not unestablished, and because it will become direct perception being non-valid means, it is also not uncertain. The so-called "non-establishable nature" is because there is no establishable, so it is non-establishable. Its thing is because of non-establishable, that is a synonym for "establishable incomplete." The so-called "second" is like "the three characteristics of a sign are like two characteristics," etc., because there is no inference that is not an unestablished reason. The so-called "in these two ways" is in the way of its "sign of three characteristics," etc. The answer to inference and contradiction, etc., is like "that self arises from that," etc. The so-called "suchness" refers to the relationship arising from that which contradicts its self-nature. The so-called "self and cause, etc." refer to nature and cause in order, and if there is none, then that will not become a sign. Because it will become non-existence of self-nature and causelessness. Regarding what was said, "the dharma to be established that one wants to state is not a distinction of the subject," if the dharma to be established.

Because the collection of those that are not the difference of the subject itself does not exist. If that is the case, this reason will not be established because it is a part of the collection. If someone says that all objects of inference are contradictory, that is unreasonable, because it is intended to prove the opposite of what is to be proven, not to prove the difference. The object of inference that is entered by the power of things is also not free from confusion, because the subject becomes contradictory, which would lead to two mutually contradictory dharmas. To what was said, "Of place, time, and circumstance," etc., it was mentioned, "For the characteristics are of habits," etc. What is intended to be understood is a sign that is very helpful in determining, not to be hesitant. It is impossible to determine that there is no smoke because of doubting the essence of steam, etc. If the sign is determined, how is that? It comes from habit. Just like the reasoning of the shape of a jewel, etc. Thus, habit is the very distinction that separates smoke, etc., from steam, etc. Therefore, those that enter very clearly will surely obtain fire. Therefore, because it is very clearly distinguished, there is no error in the sign. Therefore, it is not difficult to achieve accomplishment through the distinctions of circumstances, etc. From a very clearly distinguished sign, the determined meaning cannot be changed. The fire inferred from the very clearly determined smoke cannot be accomplished in another way, because it is impossible for one thing to have two contradictory natures. If someone says that Devadatta cannot carry heavy loads, etc., and if someone says that clouds are not burned by fire, etc., that is not a true sign, because they do not possess the three modes. Merely because it is not seen, it is not possible to make the reason retreat from the dissimilar side, because merely not seeing from the dissimilar side is not a retreat, which is what was said. So what is it? If one cannot ascertain its self-nature and the relationship arising from it,
