Having said "The all-knowing is not seen," etc., it is also said, "Now the all-knowing is," etc. "As it is refuted, so it will be in the future, it is not possible to examine." Like Kumārila, this person also said, that is, he said "As it is refuted," etc., meaning: Just as one can refute the all-knowing in the past, so the all-knowing will be born in the future, it is not possible to examine it like that. This statement is also unreasonable, because it cannot be refuted even in the past. Furthermore, the word "also" shows that the present and future times cannot be refuted either. It has already been said before that merely not seeing does not mean that it is understood as non-existent. "Thinking thus," etc., is a doubt about the establishment set up by others. The syllogism is: Whatever is past time is empty of the all-knowing, because it is time, like that time. However, in that (syllogism), no valid cognition that harms the opposite of what is to be established has been shown. Therefore, there is doubt about the counter-property, so this is an inconclusive reason. In the example, too, because there is doubt about the property to be established, the example is not established. Even if the example is established, it is not reasonable to establish what is desired with just an example. To establish this meaning, the words "collection of causes," etc., are spoken, that is: Whatever does not exist now has not occurred in the past either. What connection is there between these two? Like the Joy-maker and Bharata, etc., because they do not exist now, it is not possible to infer non-existence from non-existence. Therefore, the Joy-maker, etc., are also uncertain, so this is an inconclusive reason. Also, it is said, "One part of the sign is not seen," etc. To this, it is said, "Of wisdom," etc., that is: By the words "Whatever is of the same kind as the former," etc., wisdom, etc., are stated as the subject, and the sign is stated, so saying that there is no sign, this is not established. It is also not established as existent. So, what is it? Wisdom, etc., are Dharma because they are extremely excellent, and that itself is the all-knowing. Therefore, what are the faults of establishing existence?

However, it is not allowed here. In the "Examination of Establishing Omniscience," etc., it is said, "If the previously stated reason exists," etc. Since it is possible to infer indirectly after showing the object, it is not right to seek the establishment of the object from the words that follow merely because of someone's wish. Therefore, we do not establish omniscience through scripture. What is it then? It is from inference. This has already been said before. In the "Examination of Establishing Omniscience," "Some forms of scripture do not exist," to show that this is also not established. However, it is said, "In the Treatise on Valid Cognition," etc. Thus, there is another continuation called "Embodied Being." There, it is clearly stated that the Blessed One Shakyamuni Buddha is omniscient. Therefore, you should abandon the ignorance of taking the Treatise on Valid Cognition as a valid means of knowledge. How is it explained there? To show, it is said, "For the sake of teaching whom," etc. "Pervaded by fame" means widely known among all beings. "Attained the state of nectar" means having attained the state of nirvana, which is the nature of pacifying all afflictions and their habitual tendencies. "Pure" refers to the nature of the uncontaminated realm. Just this much shows the Blessed One's wisdom and the perfection of self-benefit in terms of abandonment and realization. To show the perfection of benefiting others, it is said, "Became the father of all the world." Father is the teacher. For the sake of establishing all beings in the happiness of the three vehicles. However, the other's answer is guarded against by "If," etc. The "this" here is like the continuation of "Embodied Being." Therefore, the answer is given by "From here," etc. Thus, the other's answer is answered by "Taking it seriously," etc. Thus, the so-called "Taking it seriously" is taking seriously the declaration of omniscience. How can it not be obtained? It is said, "If it is permanent, then it is only explicit meaning," etc. If omniscience is permanent, then if the scripture of taking it seriously becomes permanent, then at that time it must be of explicit meaning.
