Therefore, it is explained for the nature of the Dharma, not for anything else. Therefore, for those who diligently seek this principle, it should be taken as the object of pursuit, not anything else, which is the general meaning. The meaning of the branches is to be stated: If the collection of afflictions is indeed established as arising from the view of the perishable aggregate, then one should mention self and self-grasping, etc. We have already explained these before. If the collection of afflictions arises from the view of the perishable aggregate, then how can it be averted by viewing selflessness? Therefore, selflessness, etc., is mentioned. Viewing as existent is viewing sentient beings, which is a synonym for the view of the perishable aggregate. Its antidote is the side of the antidote. This is only what was previously indicated. "It exists" means viewing selflessness. "It" means viewing sentient beings. "Its root" means the root of viewing sentient beings. "Without cause" means because viewing sentient beings is without cause. "It does not exist" means the aggregates of afflictions. "Its cause" means the continuum of the aggregates of afflictions. "Will not arise" means because it is not reasonable for a result to arise without a cause, because it would become causeless. "Completely liberated from it" means that those afflictions and rebirths never arise again, which is liberation, and for it, it is complete liberation. As it is said, "Complete liberation from it is liberation." However, in the views of other schools, seeing suchness is certainly the cause of goodness, and aren't the ten paths of virtuous actions established as the cause of higher rebirth? Then how can it be said that viewing selflessness alone is the non-dual gate of liberation? "Even according to all non-Buddhists," etc., is mentioned. Like this, the aggregates arise from pride, and liberation occurs when they are reversed, which is undisputed by all. And the cessation of pride is not possible for other non-Buddhists, because they are very attached to the inverted view of self, and pride is also based on self.

Because it has the root of the view of self. If so, how can there be self, and how can the manifestation of clinging to the existence of self abide, and without fault, how can this be reversed without refuting one's own object, the self? As it is said: The continuum of arising in the mind with pride will not be pacified, and if there is a view of self, pride will not be separated from the mind. Because other teachers of beings do not speak of non-self, therefore, in order to accomplish peace, there is no other path than your treatise. As taught. Like this, the dharmas of the mind, like thorns and so on, are not to be pulled out and discarded. What is it then? It is from refuting the manifestation of clinging to the object of how those things have become. If the yogi says that he refutes himself, it is because there is no refutation. It is said, etc. Like this, there is no refutation of it. Refuting others in that non-existent way becomes meaningless. Like this, if one clings to the existence of self, then when refuting with the cause of suffering itself, the refutation becomes meaningless, because refuting it is for the sake of abandoning, and what has become the nature, which always exists, cannot be abandoned, so refuting it is meaningless. It is also not to be refuted in those non-existent ways, because the manifestation of clinging to non-self itself will become inverted. Furthermore, even if it is allowed to refute it in other ways, such as the cause of suffering itself, even so, in order to show that the pride arising merely from the view of self cannot be transformed, it is said, "If there is a self, then." It means, "If there is a self." It is said, "It is not reasonable to say non-self," which means that it is not reasonable to think of non-self in that way.

Where is liberation not through reason? Therefore, it is concluded with Lokayata and others. Abandoning the ten non-virtues means abandoning killing, taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, idle chatter, covetousness, harmful intent, and wrong view. These ten are non-virtuous actions. Another way of saying it is that not protecting others, not giving, not respecting, not being truthful, speaking unpleasant words, unprofitable words, not reciting, not having faith, not having love, and not being joyful are also considered the ten non-virtuous actions. By freeing oneself from these non-virtuous actions, there are also ten virtuous actions. Abandoning these ten non-virtuous actions means separating from them, which is synonymous with practicing the ten virtuous actions. Just a little bit, because being upside down comes first, it will be destroyed very quickly. The root of affliction is attachment to sentient beings. The excellence of the words spoken by the Bhagavan also shows that it is a noble cause, such as the protector again, etc. Having power is because the fruit is vast and it is the cause of the teachings themselves. Why doesn't the other side become powerful? Because it mentions attachment to sentient beings, etc. Because only from a completely pure cause will a completely pure result arise, and not from an impure cause. The best of the able, refers to the best among the able ones who learn and do not learn among the outsiders, that is, the best of the able ones. Whoever, whether Buddhas, etc., are omniscient, agents, and self-nature. After saying these, it is mentioned that the protector is omniscient, etc. The protector refers to the Buddha Bhagavan. If the Vedas were a constant protector, then it would be said at that time, but why has it not been established? Because the measure of previous harm has been shown, so it has been shown. When recalling the measure of harm, it is sequential and simultaneous, which has already been said before. Whoever, for now, does not speak of humans, etc.
