Now, it is possible to possess the dharma of extreme growth, like grains and so on. Love, wisdom, and so on, also possess the dharmas that have been spoken of in this way, which is called the reason of nature. This, too, is not unestablished or uncertain, as before. Intelligence is wisdom. To possess the dharma spoken of in this way means to arise from the seeds of the previous life, which are of the same kind and similar. Alternatively, those that tend towards the dharma of decline when near the side of the antidote, when the side of the antidote is extremely increased, it is possible to possess the dharma of extreme decline, like the impurities of gold and so on. Attachment and so on, when the side of the antidote of the characteristic of selflessness becomes manifest, also possess the dharma of decline, which is called the reason of nature. This reason is not unestablished, because afflictions and so on have already been proven to be contradictory together with the wisdom of selflessness. Nor is it uncertain. Because when the side of the antidote is extremely increased, it is impossible for the opposing side to remain. If it were not so, how could something that cannot be eliminated from the root be slightly diminished? A vajra placed in the midst of a collection of the brightest burning sparks of fire does not experience decline. Because it is impossible for the opposing side to increase extremely, it is also not uncertain, because extensive extreme increase has already been proven before. Alternatively, those that possess the dharma of decline when near the side of the antidote are those that possess an antidote that can completely eliminate them from the root, like the impurities of gold and so on. Afflictions and obscurations of knowledge also possess the dharma spoken of in this way, which is called the reason of nature. Here, too, one should avoid unestablishedness and uncertainty, and so on, as before. The word "and so on" includes karmic obscurations and so on. Alternatively, those that obstruct the seeing of reality are likely to diminish greatly, like the darkness of the night outside. Afflictions and obscurations of knowledge, and so on, are also the suchness

That which is called "that which obstructs seeing" is the reason of self-nature. In order to show that this is not uncertain, it is said, "That also diminishes," and so on. That is also the inner darkness. Furthermore, in order to make anything that arises suddenly in this way abide in a stable place without any contradictory conditions. Moreover, those who rely on the expositors, with the excellent distinction of excellence, can make it possible to reach the ultimate limit. For example, the purity of gold and so on. Wisdom and love, etc., are also like that, called "having the Dharma as it is said" is the reason of self-nature. Jumping and the warmth of water, there is no confusion in this. Thus it is thought, because it has a distinction. Jumping and the warmth of water are not caused by a single difference, but arise without relying on diligence, etc., nor are they a stable place. Furthermore, if one thinks that there is also a difference that depends on the growth of seeds of the same kind, therefore jumping is confused. Then it is said, "That is not jumping nature," that jumping does not arise from jumping nature. If asked, what exists then arises? Then it is said, "If there is strength and diligence," if there is strength and diligence, then there is jumping, if there is jumping, then there is not. Thinking that the power of strength and diligence, the nature of abiding, jumping is also the nature of abiding. Thus thinking, if it is said that jumping is only from strength and diligence, not from jumping, then how can the jumping of a man change from habit more than before? This fault does not exist, because his body was previously made discordant by phlegm, etc., so it is impossible to arise jumping as it was later. Later, when the discord of the body is exhausted by the excellent diligence, the power of jumping remains as it is. It should be known that this is undoubtedly so, if it is not so, if jumping is from jumping nature, then that jumping will not remain in the difference. Kind
