It is not, because it is the nature of non-existence. Therefore, this is not a valid means of cognition. If it is considered as a thing other than the thing called valid means of cognition because it enters as not being, even then, because it is the nature of being contrary to valid means of cognition, it will not be established as a valid means of cognition, just as something other than a Brahmin is not reasonably a Brahmin. Here, one might think: this does not mean that it is contrary to all valid means of cognition. What is it then? If one thinks that it is merely a difference in knowledge other than the five valid means of cognition that one wants to express, then if that is the case, one should express that it is of such a form. Because it is not the object of the five valid means of cognition, if one says that it is of such a form as thinking that this omniscient one does not exist, then if it is of such a form, then it is not a valid means of cognition, because it is mistaken. Because, when the five valid means of cognition, by which this knowledge becomes true, which are not of the nature and not the cause, are contrary, the determination of the unrelated omniscient one, etc., does not turn back, therefore, it is thought that there is not even a little valid means of cognition that harms the omniscient one. One might think: the non-perception that you speak of as inference will become harmful to the omniscient one, and if one thinks: what need do we have for other valid means of cognition? It is true that non-perception is not a valid means of cognition, but here, do you consider non-perception to establish the non-existence of the omniscient one by contradicting your own perception, or will it contradict the perception of all individuals? For one's own non-perception, do you want to manifest the non-difference that does not rely on the difference that has become the characteristic of perception, or is it with difference? This should be examined. For the time being, in order to show that one's own non-perception, such as non-difference, is not a valid means of cognition for establishing the non-existence of the omniscient one. Because it is merely not seeing. Saying "merely" and so on is to eliminate the meaning of this difference called the characteristic of perception. Not being certain of non-existence also means not being certain of the non-existence of the omniscient one. What
