Because the land does not lose its nature of producing the fruit of knowledge that arises later, all the fruits that arise from it alone will appear simultaneously. Even if it is not sequential, it is not non-sequential, because the later land also possesses the nature of fully possessing the ability to produce the first fruit, and it is contradictory to say that it does not produce it. The argument is: whatever lacks the dharma that pervades something, lacks the dharma that is pervaded by it. For example, a vase, etc., that is empty of the dharma of wood itself is like being empty of the dharma of the essence of wood itself. To say that the words spoken in the Vedas also lack the pervasion of the dharma that is capable of functioning, lacking the dharma of sequence and non-sequence, is because the functioning thing is not observed. Therefore, the power of permanent words is neither in itself nor in other causes that act together. Therefore, the power that is non-different from its own nature cannot make its own nature become other. Even if it is other, it has been examined many times because the connection has not been established. Therefore, it is not reasonable to infer the complete understanding of supersensory things by inferring permanence as a reason, because it is harmed. If someone says that because the object taken by the non-existent measure is the possessor of the object taken, there is no knowledge of dharma, then, regarding this, because it has been shown that the opponent's commitment to the absence of knowledge of dharma, and the order of harming the meaning with measure, and the reason has not been established. Therefore, "Therefore, heaven, sacrifices, etc." are mentioned. "Self" means autonomously, that is, knowledge without relying on the Vedas. "Like that" means what kind of things you have negated. "Obtained through meaning" means that because the Vedas themselves have been promised to be measure, it is obtained through implication. For the same reason, the nature of the object taken by the non-existent measure has not been established, because it is taken as the object through the understanding of meaning. If someone says that all words depend on the meaning of the context, and refutes it after much examination, that is not applicable. Because this tenet has not been promised, whoever to it...

We do not acknowledge omniscience simply because we can bestow and because we know all the meanings one wishes to express, excluding the Dharma and so forth. What then? If someone wishes to manifest as omniscient that which illuminates all knowable things, such as the Dharma of the mind, which is free from all stains of afflictions and cognitive obscurations, then you should not say anything that harms it. Furthermore, saying things like "How many atoms are there in a single body?" is merely stating a baseless pledge. A mere empty pledge cannot accomplish meaning, because it would lead to everything accomplishing everything. Keeping all of this in mind, then saying "Moreover," and so on. "Without cause" means that the cause is the basis, that is, it does not possess the three aspects of reason. Because it is devoid of the stains of afflictions and cognitive obscurations, it is stainless. Because it is opposed by external heretics, it is not moved by the wind. Because wisdom itself is a lamp, it illuminates. Therefore, that which illuminates all phenomena, such as the Dharma, that is, which takes them as objects, is called that. Even if it is dependent, it should be accepted because it can be understood. No harm is stated to this. This is called the remainder of "valid cognition." Not only is it not stated, but it is thought that there is no harm to this at all. Therefore, for the time being, direct perception does not cause harm, because it is not its object. For example, if one acknowledges a dharma that contradicts what is proven by direct perception in relation to an object that is cognized by direct perception, then direct perception will cause harm. For example, with respect to the subject, sound, that which is not audible is harmed by audibility. But it is not that direct perception does not intervene. If someone vows that he is omniscient, then direct perception will harm him, because he cannot directly know all the minds in the continuum of others.
