However, even so, to show that everything you fall into is impossible, being the words spoken by the all-knowing one. "The ten grounds," and so forth, are mentioned. For example, abiding on the ten grounds, because of being separated from all the realizations of defilements such as desire, one realizes all knowable things with wisdom like pure crystal. It is said that you proclaim it in that way. If that is so, then hold this state. Because having a one-pointed mind, it is only for showing the realization of meaning, so it is not able to skillfully proclaim the Dharma. Because some are not able to do just this much. If it is said that one proclaims after rising from meditation, then, when "in general" and so forth are mentioned, because there is no application of words without discriminating awareness, it is not possible to proclaim this Dharma in the state of mind with discrimination. If that is so, then in this state there is no difference between children and the wise, therefore, what is spoken by the non-all-knowing becomes what is spoken by the non-all-knowing. Some think that because one abides in non-discriminating samadhi, it is not possible to proclaim it slightly. What then? Due to its power, the various ways of teaching the Dharma that appear arise from those who have discriminating wisdom and fortune. As it is said, "From the night when the Thus-Gone One attained complete perfect enlightenment until the night when he completely passed into nirvana, the Thus-Gone One did not speak or indicate a single letter." Why is that? Because the Thus-Gone One is always in equipoise. However, those who are to be tamed by letters, speech, and indications hear the sound of the Dharma arising from the face, the crown of the head, and the urna of the Thus-Gone One. If you think in that way, then, in response to that, "Abiding in his meditation," and so forth, are mentioned. The wish-fulfilling jewel is the wish-fulfilling gem. The summarized meaning here is this: For those who have faith, proclaiming this immeasurable is beautiful. But we

Just as the holding of meaning established by valid cognition, those who only pursue reason, saying how they do not possess valid cognition, this will be held. Even if that kind of conceptualization is so, even so, regarding the teachings arising from walls and so on, because of doubting whether they were spoken by the omniscient one, therefore those who have conceptualizations do not completely believe that they are valid cognitions. To illustrate this, it is mentioned, "The collection arising from walls and so on," etc., all of which should be understood. Up to this point, what was said by Kumārila is considered the former part. Now, according to the views of the Lāvakā and the sacrificers, again refuting the omniscient one, saying, "Again, it should be analyzed in this way," etc. Is it because of knowing everything completely all at once that one is omniscient? Or gradually, that is, in sequence? Or is it because of knowing all beings' impermanence, etc., as one entity, or in one way, just like the lord? Or only because of knowing the actions and results, etc., that are closely related to the individual's benefit? Or because of having the ability to completely know all things, for example, just as fire, although it cannot devour everything gradually or simultaneously, is said to devour everything? The same is true for the statement of the omniscient one. For the first view, there are two distinctions: does one mind know everything all at once, or multiple minds? For the time being, it is not one mind, because one mind cannot simultaneously see mutually contradictory things such as purity and impurity. If someone thinks that many minds with multiple contradictory objects operate simultaneously, then it is mentioned, "Sometimes minds are different," etc., explaining that those are not seen, the distinctions should be separated and connected. Multiple different minds are not seen simultaneously, because sentient beings have the same stream of consciousness, which is an established conclusion. Therefore, it is unreasonable for multiple minds to hold simultaneously. The gradual view is also not established, because the past, future, and present things are infinite.
