If one must investigate, then the way to infer omniscience, as a property of one side of the argument, does not exist. Furthermore, to establish the existence of omniscience, all arguments do not go beyond three kinds of faults: unestablished, contradictory, and uncertain. Thus, what is shown as an argument is called a real property, or a non-real property, or a property that combines both, there are these three situations. Among them, for the subject of omniscience, it is impossible to establish a refutation based on real properties, because the subject itself is what needs to be established, so it is unestablished, or even if it is established, it will fall into a state of non-contention. If someone claims that it is a real property, then how can he not admit that it is a real property itself? Because it is impossible to grasp only a property without a basis. Non-real properties cannot be used as arguments to establish omniscience, because that is precisely what establishes the opposite of real properties, so it is contradictory. A property that combines both is also not possible, because that is uncertain. Thus, real properties and non-real properties, in order to establish real properties, how can one experience the characteristic of an argument that is not confused about real properties, which is obtained by cutting off the dissimilar class called non-real properties? Therefore, as the basis of inference, as the probans, these three situations do not exist, and because they do not exist, omniscience cannot be established through inference. To show that omniscience cannot be determined through sound, there are treatises such as "Establishing the All-Knowing One." What arises from sound, and gives rise to knowledge of the meaning to be expressed, is what arises from sound. It has two types: arising from permanent sound, and having sound created by a person as its cause. Among them, since the way of proclaiming omniscience, such teachings are not permanent, so for the time being, the first is impossible. Whoever has truthful speech, truthful discrimination, and truthful intention in secret places, etc., should be sought, and one should want to understand him, like this and so on.

Moreover, revealing sectarianism should also be regarded as an act of integrity. If someone thinks that whatever words are spoken by a person, considering "The Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Samyaksambuddha is..." this view is also incorrect, because how can something untrue be convincing? If someone thinks like this: from whatever words, we cannot realize omniscience. Then, what is it? "I am all-knowing, all-seeing, and there is nothing that the Tathagata does not know," etc., these are the words spoken by the Bhagavan himself. Therefore, if one thinks that it is through his words that one realizes it. If someone thinks, "If through his words themselves...", if that is the case, it will fall into the fault of mutual dependence. How so? Because it mentions "taught by the omniscient one..." and so on. Just like this, as long as one has not realized "This is spoken by the omniscient one," then his words will not be determined to be correct. And the determination that he is omniscient comes from these words themselves, so it is clear that it is mutually dependent. "Before realizing that other roots are established," means that there is no other reason for certainty. If someone again thinks that omniscience can be determined through the words of the Shravaka Shariputra and others, because he said, "This king of the Shakya clan is omniscient." To this, it is said here: "Not by the non-omniscient..." Because the Buddhas show omniscience through their own words, and showing omniscience through the words of others, because the words of others are not established as valid means of cognition, the words of others are no different from their own words, therefore, no reason is seen for not being able to realize from ignorance. If countless Tathagatas have appeared and will appear in the future, if that is the case, and one wants to determine omniscience from the words spoken by someone other than one Tathagata, and hears the words of others from others. To this, it is said here: "In order to establish one omniscient..." In order to establish one omniscient, the lineage of the omniscient
