Thus, and "the mind of encouragement," etc., also show a contradiction with one's own words. The nature of arising from a cause is that which arises from a cause. The word "etc." is for the sake of being generated by untrustworthy words, because there is no harm, etc. Thus: The knowledge generated by encouragement is valid, because it is without fault, because it is generated by a cause, like a sign, trustworthy words, and independent intelligence. Likewise, untrustworthiness is not made, because it is generated by words, place, time, etc., different, etc., because it is meaningless. Thus, because the mind of encouragement is established as valid, when speaking of establishing a thesis, it is shown that the establishment is definitely valid for others. The validity of all valid cognitions, take trust from yourself. It is also said to prevent it, so the words contradict each other. Even if validity is established from oneself, etc., it is to answer others. If so, we say that the establishment is to establish the minds generated by encouragement as valid, it is not so. Then what is it? For this, it is to refute others' false accusations of non-validity. This is also unreasonable. From what is it? Because there is no possibility of doubt. Determination and the intention of false accusation, because of the nature of harm and harm. It is also said so. Therefore, for the sake of reversing whose meaning, your labor of establishing a thesis will become fruitful, when certainty arises, from what does this doubt of non-validity come from? To this, give an example, such as "High Estimate," etc., any who understand, for whom its nature is determined as High Estimate, it is called High Estimate. Other kinds, such as trees and men, etc. If so, without doubt, how can the establishment of validity be prevented? Because things, etc., are said, from what nature is determined, that is, determined by what nature. The doubt of reversal is the meaning of the doubt of the nature of reversal from its nature, one's ownི་ is because its essence is definite. An example is shown for this: As it is said, "like smoke," etc. "The absence of that itself is what is completely cut off" means that the absence of fire, etc., is what is completely cut off. The conclusion is made with "not a valid cognition," etc. For the sake of explaining the additional cause, it is said, "If there are two valid cognitions." The two that are not valid cognitions are doubt and the nature of error. When showing that whatever is pervaded by contradiction becomes an absurd consequence, it is established that it contradicts one's own words. Because doubt and error, which contradict certainty, pervade the very object that they have made their object, there is no opportunity for certainty in that. As "like offering cake," etc., it also shows that it contradicts inference and that one's own side is established. The connection is that those natures that have made doubt and error their object are indeed the very nature of what is to be determined from another, like the high bank, etc. According to some, the valid cognition itself is also the nature of having made doubt and error its object, which is the reason of nature. Because it is like offering cake, smoke, and the fault of being produced by a cause, etc., it is said so. That is summarized by "by the knowledge of those." Connecting the high bank in sequence with these, this shows the pervasion of the reason. In order to avoid what is not established from the point of view of showing the property of the subject, it is said, "Likewise, by what," etc. "By what" means "for what reason." "Became" means certainty, and "by that valid cognition" is the remainder. In this way, it has already been shown that the mind produced by urging is indeed the object of doubt and error. "Likewise" means like the high bank, etc. "The valid cognition itself is determined from another" shows the near result of the valid cognition. "If the valid cognition itself is established from itself, then it is what eliminates harm" is not reasonable, because it has already been shown that doubt is not possible. Now, in order to refute the doubt about what is not a valid cognition, it is established.
