My side will not be untouched either, so this is finished. Furthermore, the words "in addition" and so on show that the reason "because it determines its own nature" is uncertain. Likewise, the phrase "the power of not deceiving" should be connected with "determined from another." "The two are the same" refers to valid cognition and non-valid cognition. "From the opposite" means not being valid cognition itself. Any abilities are not permanent, therefore they are not self-existent, and later they do not rely on other causes, therefore they are not produced solely from their own causes. So what is it? The abilities of things are also uncertain. Moreover, abilities arise from themselves alone, therefore these are self-existent. In this way, whatever essence the causes have in themselves, that alone acts on their results. For example, the potter starts to make a pot to be produced from a lump of clay only from his own qualities such as shape. The ability to hold water and so on is not inherent in itself, therefore they do not act on the pot, but it is its own arising. Similarly, for knowledge, since its causes such as sense organs and objects act on itself, it does not have the ability to completely decide on things, but it is what it has from itself alone. Therefore, the claim that ability is self-existent is just nonsense, because this reasoning would also lead to the conclusion that non-valid cognition itself arises from itself. In this way, it has the characteristic of decisively reversing things, and the eyes and so on do not have such an ability either. Furthermore, if the causes of essence that are not inherent in oneself do not act on the result, then how do the essences of sense organs and so on, which are said to be not inherent in oneself, act on knowledge? Moreover, if what does not exist is also acted upon by them, then why does the ability to decide not arise? There is nothing that hinders them from producing this effect. Furthermore, for the time being, if one were to accept that ability is not different from things, then the self of things

As for their own nature, these are also dependent on causes, so from where do these have self-nature? If they are different, then since they arise by themselves, their connection with their own support and relation will not be established. For they are not even helpful to it. What is not helpful is also not reasonable as a support, because it is too extreme. Furthermore, if it happens spontaneously without reason, then it will not depend on a specific place and time. For example, if something slightly depends on something or does not depend on something, then it is either not dependent on it, or it is not. If anything that does not depend happens by itself, then why does it sometimes turn into something else? If so, things will not have the ability to be determined separately, otherwise everything will be mixed with everything. Others, relying on the view that the result exists, say, "The measure of all measures." For example, since it is certain to produce a result, only existing things can be acted upon by causes. Non-existent things, such as flowers in the sky, etc., or extracting sesame oil from sand, cannot be done anywhere. If it produces non-existence,

For that reason. If you admit it, it will also lead to the object becoming non-existent. Furthermore, does it produce a manifestation that is different from the object, or does it produce something that is not different from the object? If it produces something different from the object, then at that time it will not have done anything to the object at all. Because doing something else is not doing this thing, which is too extreme. If you say that it produces another manifestation related to it, that is not possible, because the connection with it is not established due to the fact that it cannot confer benefit. If you admit that it confers benefit, if that is also another thing, then it will lead to endlessness, and the connection will not be established. If it is not another thing, then it will also lead to the causes being meaningless, because it produces the manifestation of the nature of conferring benefit from the object that has become the basis, and because all the causes of the manifestation of the object exist at all times, it will always lead to manifest clarity. It has already been shown many times that it is not reasonable to rely on something else that cannot confer benefit. If you say that the side that produces the manifestation that does not become something else is also not reasonable, because there is no need to distinguish. In this way, saying that it produces something that does not become something else is to show that it produces the nature of the object, and that is because existence itself is free from all dependence. This very thing that should not be done should be considered. Furthermore, just like manifestation, because there is no difference, it will also lead to the object becoming non-existent, or like the object's own essence, it will also lead to manifestation also becoming existence itself. That is also not reasonable, because it cannot be removed, and it has already been shown that it will lead to endlessness. If you also want the action of the cause for the object of existence, then it will lead to the cause producing the effect without being able to avoid it. What should be observed there to make the causes avoid it? If you say that the effect exists, that is not possible, because according to your view, it already exists. Therefore, by what cause does existence arise, that which produces non-existence, produces it.
