It is only a few. Thus, and so on, it is said. There is no fault in the aspect of arising, because the very nature of generating distinct consciousness from its own cause arises closely. Therefore, it is not understood by all at all times. If well-applied attention is possible, in what way sound is well-applied attention, in that way there is this fault, in order to show this reason. Also, if, thus, and so on, it is said, admitting that nature is able to generate consciousness, not only is there the fault that even if it is in a distant place, it will be grasped, but also there is a fault in the aspect of well-applied attention, therefore, another aspect is shown. Why is it not possible to be in a distant place? This is related to "by hearing," showing the crow's question, that is, "it is only hearing." In order to clarify this reason, it is said, "being in a close place," and so on. In order to prevent the arising of sound. Thus, and so on. If a distinction arises. Thus, and so on, it is said. If it arises from well-applied attention, then, sound should also arise, because that is no different from well-applied attention. If it is different, because consciousness arises from well-applied attention itself, sound is not the agent, so it should become non-knowable. If that is the case, it should also be admitted that sound can also arise. Also, if, like you, the arising of sound that is able to generate distinct consciousness arises, similarly, we, through well-applied attention, will also determine ourselves distinctly, therefore, those who abide in nature will not understand, like this, explaining this is: at the same time, sound is well-applied attention. Thus, and so on, if the nature of generating consciousness arises for the cause of a distinct person, if that is the case, it is also shown that there is a fault. Like this, if consciousness does not abandon the consciousness that is able to generate consciousness, then, it should become that consciousness arises at all times, if it abandons, then, it should become impermanent. Therefore, it should be admitted that it will arise. In whatever aspect of well-applied attention. Thus, and so on, it is said.

In "the way of doing well in both" etc., it is said that according to which views, it is reasonable that anything belonging to the side of birth is lacking in any one. But it is not the case on the side of saying good deeds, because according to those views, the nature of the previous good deeds is always followed. Like this, etc., it shows that following itself. The so-called "change for" is a synonym for becoming impermanent. The so-called "hearing everything" means hearing at all times is hearing everything, but it is not hearing everything, so the words are combined, also to prevent the inclusion of karma. If you also think that it is the ears and letters that are well made, which can be heard by the individuals who are determined separately, so not everything can be heard. If so, then those who understand other letters will not hear the sound. To show this, it is said "ears and letters are well made, etc.". It can be summarized as what can be heard by the determined individuals. Those are also others, and also letter comprehenders, then "also letter comprehenders" is how the words are combined. If you also think that, whatever those who understand other letters, the good deeds done by the sounds and ears, etc., that can generate their knowledge will also change. After raising this question, the answer is: "If the letter is that person." etc., it should be summarized as letters and persons. What are those letters? Those are the ones that are received by other comprehenders. The persons are also those, that is, those who understand. It can be summarized as being suitable for their consciousness. The so-called "theirs" refers to the good deeds previously done by those ears and sounds. The so-called "they also" refers to the previous letters and persons. What is shown in this way is that when others hear the letters such as ga later, they will also hear them like those who heard them before, because they follow the previous nature. If it is not followed, then it will become impermanent.
