Nor is it. Therefore, it is related to it, that is, the mere sound related to the sound is merely the direct perception of conceptual thought. This statement is merely speculation. For example, tasting sweetness and bitterness, and clinging to white as yellow, etc. Whatever is said about sweetness, etc., sweetness, etc., is mentioned. This clarifies what was said, "Through its power, wisdom arises from sound." It is unreasonable to infer that knowledge with other aspects has other objects, because this would lead to very excessive consequences. Furthermore, if the knowledge of sound is not its object, then how can it be without an object? Swiftness and slowness, etc., are mentioned, and knowledge arises in the form of swiftness, slowness, and intermediate states. However, sound does not have aspects such as swiftness, etc., because it is constant and has the same essence only through subtle differences. There is also no other thing that appears with aspects such as swiftness, etc. Therefore, since there is no meaning that follows the aspect, this is without an object. Someone thinks that the sound itself appears in other forms with the essence of swiftness, etc., and that this would become its object, as it is said: "Through different objects and times, all external objects are conditions." If you think like that, here it is said: "The meaning itself is..." etc. The so-called contradiction means that the aspects of that and this, with the nature of existing in mutual exclusion, are impossible on the same phenomenon. Furthermore, in order to show that all these knowledges are mistaken, and that whether with or without aspects, they are without objects, it is said: "For knowledge without aspects..." etc. For those who say that knowledge is without aspects, the aspects of blue, etc., are actually experienced, just as yellow, etc., appear in the knowledge of illusion. Because they do not exist in things like conch shells, this very clearly shows that it is without an object. However, if the aspects of yellow, etc., are not attributes of the thing itself, then it must belong to knowledge. If it is not like that,

Secondly, If it doesn't exist anywhere, how can it be experienced? If it is so and belongs to knowledge, how can it be said that knowledge is without an image? This is indeed true. However, after admitting the position that knowledge is without an image, it is said that there is no object of knowledge. For those who think that knowledge is without an image, an answer should be given here. For the position of knowledge with an image, it is only because the experience of the image of the nature similar to the thing is established as the experience of the thing. Because in the confused knowledge, there is no experience of the image of the nature similar to the thing, so it itself is without an object. Apart from those with and without images, there is also no knowledge that holds the object of the image of the image. Therefore, it can be established that all confused knowledge is without an object. In order to show that for this, the reason for confusion is also impossible. It is said, "There should be no manifester," and so on. The so-called manifester is different, it is only sound, and sound is said to be the reason for different confusions. For the permanent dharma, there is no manifester at all, because for it, it does nothing. What does not make the slightest difference should not be considered a manifester, because it would be too extreme. If so, anything would become a manifester. Therefore, it is only sound, because it follows the good deeds of the manifester. Sound should not be considered different. For example, lamps, etc., because they help the eyes. For what has been said, one verse briefly summarizes the meaning of the previous verse, and then in order to refute with the second verse, etc., it is said, "How are pots, etc." Even if the ear has been well adjusted, can the sound produce the manifest knowledge of its own object with the nature of sound? Or can't it? This must be made clear. In the first case, from the ear being well adjusted, it would become that it has already been apprehended before. Explaining this, it is said, "If the ear is well adjusted, the meaning," and so on. The so-called "therefore" is because of that reason.
