Therefore, it is not possible to say to those who discriminate, "It is not a valid means of knowledge," for that is the meaning of the words. This shows that both the human-made and the non-human-made have the same reason for understanding things that are not entirely hidden. If this is the case, and the reason for understanding is the same, then it is illogical to say, "Only the non-human-made is a valid means of knowledge, and the other is not." Faults depend on the person, so they can be understood as errors, but it cannot be said that the non-human-made is not an error, because even non-human-made things may have a natural cause for erroneous understanding. To show the same thing, that is, "Thus, all sounds," where "all" refers to the human-made and the non-human-made. "Only" refers to the non-human-made. Hatred, that is, after saying "even," etc., it is said "immediately say," etc. Saying immediately is because it enters merely through the intention of the sound, without any connection to the thing itself.

It is no wonder that parrots and others take sesame seeds as food. Furthermore, regarding what was said, such as "arising from appearance, by recognition," the reason for mentioning "recognition" etc., is that the characteristic of direct perception is being free from conceptualization and non-erroneous, while recognition is not free from conceptualization, because it operates with the thought "this is it," corresponding to the form of sound. It is also not non-erroneous, because it combines what was seen before with what is arising now. What was seen before is not the same as what is seen later, because it is unreasonable for sequential knowledge to arise from non-sequentiality. The result of a phenomenon arising from something, which sometimes does not change, is because it is not incomplete. If the cause is not incomplete, then why does the result cease? The permanent is not something that can be acted upon, therefore it is not something that sometimes needs to be relied upon, so the knowledge arising from it would be simultaneous. The connection is that whenever the cause is not incomplete, it will definitely arise at that time, for example, the eye consciousness that is the final state of the collection of all causes such as the eye. The knowledge arising from the sound of cows etc. is also not incomplete in all states, which is the reason of nature. Therefore, because of being mistaken and conceptual, recognition is not established as direct perception, which was explained at the beginning, and it has already been explained that things are permanent. To show that recognition is not established by its own nature in all cases, the knowledge of sound etc. is mentioned. Whenever parrots and partridges etc. make sounds, for those sounds, because of "this is the sound of a partridge," "this is the sound of a parrot," etc., due to the different objects, it will become different knowledge, so recognition is not established by its own nature in all cases. Also, if it is thought that because the manifestation is different, this mutually contradictory knowledge arises for the sounds of parrots etc., this is also unreasonable, because the manifestation will be eliminated. Now explain this

If it says "manifestation" etc., this "this" refers to the knowledge of the reversed nature. Furthermore, even if the difference of sounds is established, it is either made by manifestation or it is the difference. If it is not its own nature, then in order to show that one cannot trust everything and it becomes too extreme, it is said, "You with this very wisdom." "Everything" refers to various kinds. If it changes like that, therefore it says, "Therefore you." This is the manifestor, this is what is to be manifested, it will not become a term for the reason of difference, because there is no difference. Similarly, these are made by humans, we, the Vedic gods, make it peaceful, etc., these are not made by humans, for you, it will not become the ultimate establishment of recognition, because there is no difference. "Order of manifestation" etc. shows the establishment of distinguishing between worldly dharma and Vedic dharma. "Manifestation exists by wisdom," this is because of certainty. Some people think that the order of "we, the gods, make it peaceful" etc. is certain. Therefore, they think that those with a definite order are not made by humans, and conversely, it is made by humans. It is refuted by "palate" etc., because it is not established to have a definite order, because the order of what is to be manifested is certain. However, the order of manifestation of the palate etc. also depends on the will of people to enter, so it is uncertain. The will of people is also arbitrary, because where there is arbitrary will, where will there be certainty? This is what is said. If this is the case, then what certainty is there in this order of "we, the gods, make it peaceful" etc., that it happens and will happen at all times? Because there is no valid cognition, there may be other orders at times. Flames etc. are momentary. Even so, for what is said as "recognition," it is said as flames etc.
