That which enables the understanding of the correct meaning of how things arise, etc., is called the reason of self-nature. This is what is taught, as it is said, "by persons," etc., such as the increase of qualities, etc., which is like the meaning of desire. In order to accomplish this, it is said, "without reason," etc., even if there is no reason, even if there is no dependence, those who do not make offerings and alms, without a hook, by their own examination, for the sake of life, those who desire heaven make burnt offerings to the fire. Thus, and so on, examining the meaning of the words of the Vedas, it is possible. Furthermore, the nature of the collection of words is made by a person, like the stories of dramas, etc. The Vedas are also a collection of words, which is called the reason of self-nature. If that is the case, because it is made by a person, like the words of a person on the great road, the Vedas will not become valid. If it is said that because it is made by a trustworthy person, even if it is made by a person, it will become valid, then here it is said, "here," etc. By "not making a connection," etc., a question is raised, if a connection is made to the listener, what the speaker understands will change. Thus, and so on, any unreasonable connection between words and meanings, whatever is said, it should be said that the words of the Vedas are eternal. From the conventions of people, the increase of qualities, etc., is as desired. In order to show this uncertainty, it is said, "arising from conventions," etc., such as the visible meaning of A and I, etc., it is possible to understand the names of qualities, etc., from conventions. But not from the Vedas, because heaven, etc., are beyond the senses, therefore they cannot be conventionally established. If that is the case, then this will become meaningless, it is said, "this is not meaningless either," this "that" refers to the Vedas. In order to accomplish "because it is a collection," etc., for that which is to be accomplished, in order to show that other accomplishers are uncertain, it is said, "for the collection itself," etc., however, Bharata is to be recited.

Is it not possible to say it that way? All those who recite the Bharata are preceded by reciting the guru, because they are reciting the Bharata, just like now, is it not possible to say it that way? Therefore, like that, other proofs are also uncertain, and after raising this doubt, it is said, "The Bharata also," saying it that way is a fallacy. However, regarding that, saying "The author is widely remembered," because remembering the author harms the meaning of the vow, it is not a fallacy. The Vedas have no memory, so saying "author" is superfluous. But don't the Vedas also have the memory of the author? Like this, the sage Mikra created the Vedas of definite statements, and the Vedas of poetry are the Vedas of poetry. The sage pigeon who has good qualities and the same wisdom entering into creation is the Vedas of the world. If it is said that it is the Vedas of poetry, or that it was created by the friend of the sun, therefore, it is said, "Whatever has a meaningful statement of reason," whatever can remember the author is the one who has a meaningful statement of reason. Focusing on stating other meanings is meaning statement, and whatever has that reason is called that way. Like this, saying "did" is not focusing on the meaning of doing, so what is it? It is the meaning of remembering. Did, that is, the meaning of remembering. How is this meaning determined? Saying "past and future" etc., the two measures are completely understood. Like "it is like this" etc., summarizing all the relevant content, it is a measure, whatever, regarding something, generates knowledge without relying on the speaker who is the author, then it will not be false for that thing, for example, the meaning of a word is like a word. The words of the Vedas also do not rely on the person who is the author, and generate knowledge about their own meaning, which is a contradiction that is universally present, because relying on the person who is the author to generate knowledge itself pervades falsehood, those.
