It is done in this way. The so-called "at once" means doing it at once. Here, the answer given refers to the fact that in the realm of water, the sun's light is wavering, and the nature of this light reflects onto the various light senses of the eye. What reflects outward is the sun, and the sun's mandala is perceived as existing in its own place. Like a vessel, it is like the number of vessels. Therefore, since the body appears to be different, how could it be multiple at that time? It is not multiple at all. This is because the entry of the eyes is different, so it is thought. To show that due to the entry of the eyes, even if the eyes are different, they are perceived as if they are different. Like using a finger, etc., it is said that slightly, that is, when pressing the eye slightly with a finger, that is, when squeezing it, even if the object is one, it will be seen as various and diverse. Why? Because the entry of the eyes is different. Similarly, we think that the sound is one, but we perceive it as different, so there is no fault. The so-called "others" are, for example, in sun shadows, etc. One also at once, various kinds. When one thinks that this proof is not established in showing the very place of confusion, those who want other meanings of images will argue. If the sun itself is visible, but the image is not, why wouldn't it be seen on this? If things retain their own essence as they are, then they will be seen, otherwise they will not. If it is not like that, it would be too extreme. Furthermore, if images are not produced in wells, etc., how would the sun, etc., be perceived as entering the lower depths? It is not the case that the sun, etc., exist there in that way. Furthermore, when facing east and looking in a mirror, how does one turn to face west? At that time, it is not the case that seeing the face turned back coming close is not like that. One answers with water and sun, etc. Thinking like this: if the senses move outward to understand the sun, then therefore, it will be seen as being above, but not below. Because the senses of the body itself are controlled by Dharma and non-Dharma.

wants to hold on, but it is not staying on top. As it is said: If the root consciousness is itself, or in the external object, the knower therefore on this body, the knower will become like that. Thus the order is like this: those who see water and the sun in a water container, their eyes that view water and the sun enter in two ways, upward and downward. Among them, the upper part, the bright sun, I (Tibetan: བདག་གིས་ཏེ་སྐྱེས་བུ་, Chinese literal meaning: I, that is, the person) do not hold. Why? Because it stays on a tilted support, at that time the root consciousness of the eye will not stay on a straight support. The sun produced by the sun's rays entering through transmission is returning to enter, understood by becoming the cause. Thus, the sun's rays produce the entry of light, and the entry is through the eyes. O eyes, this is called being produced through the transmission of the sun. The master of light is the sun. From above, that is, below the sun staying above, it is thought of as staying below. What? It's me (Tibetan: བདག་, Chinese literal meaning: I). The sun below is not other. Why? Because it is one, because that sun is not different. The others are the eyes. Therefore, by the power of the eye entering just mentioned, in different containers such as wells and water, the sun is seen as bounded. Otherwise, how can one hold non-different things as different? When looking east at the mirror, what will happen when looking west? To what was said, "Thus" etc. was said. First, the light of the eye goes out from the face and reaches the entry of the object such as the mirror, which is called staying in front. Those also reach that object, and when they return, how one's own face will appear, that is also returning. Among them, the face entering while staying in front, the one returning to enter is I (Tibetan: བདག་, Chinese literal meaning: I) returning to enter. Therefore, I (Tibetan: བདག་, Chinese literal meaning: I) go to the face that produces the return entry, thinking that I saw the returning face because of confusion, thinking that the various entries of the eye themselves are the seeds of confusion.
