When it is shown that there is no fault in the clear manifestation of sound by undertaking the ear of space, which has the characteristic of tinnitus, by which other tenets are understood, and by which one's own tenets are understood, and by making good use of it. Now, in order to show that there is no fault in the clear manifestation of sound by relying on the ear, which has the characteristic of the direction famous in the Vedas, and by the distinction of making it good, it is said, "Or," etc. The so-called "ear direction" means that the direction itself must be determined to be the ear, that is the meaning. How is it? It is said, "Ear sky." If so, it is not said in the Vedas that the ear is a direction, so how can it be found? It is said, "Ear direction," etc. The so-called "nature dissolving into its own essence is destruction," and at the time of destruction, the eyes, etc. of beings are said to dissolve into their respective natures. In this regard, at the time of destruction, taking livestock as an example, it is said in the Vedas, "This eye goes to the sun, and the ear goes to the direction," and it is said here as well. The meaning of "go" is that whatever comes from where goes there. Therefore, even if it is not directly said that the ear is a direction, the phrase "the ear goes to the direction" is only an indirect expression. How is it? It is said, "That also," etc. That is also because it is said to go to the direction, so it is dedicated to showing that the ear goes to nature, meaning that the ear, as an actor, goes to the direction that has become nature. How is it? It is said, "Like eyes, etc." This is the detailed explanation: It is said, "How is it," etc. For example, saying "This eye goes to the sun" means saying that consciousness goes to the nature of the sun, and taking out the eye from it. Similarly, through the phrase "the ear goes to the direction," it is also said that the ear is the essence of the direction, and these words should be connected in this way. Consciousness is the nature of the sun, meaning that it must be determined to be the essence of the sun. Also, what is that direction like?

Furthermore, it is said, "direction" and so on. The connection of being all-pervasive is that it exists as long as space exists. In that case, deafness and so on cannot be established, because it is the same direction. If you ask this, it is said, "ear canal" and so on. Not all of oneself is the direction of the ear. What is it then? It is fully explained up to the end of the cochlea. However, since it has no parts, how can the distinction of parts be determined? It is said, "space" and so on. For example, just as space distinguishes parts through things with different attributes, so too does direction. Then, what is the difference between space and the direction of the ear? It is said that there is a difference according to the scriptures. Therefore, this is to show the establishment of deafness and so on by way of conclusion. To show that there is no fault in the direction of perfecting the object, it is said, "the object also." In this regard, if the sound is perfected, everyone will understand. What was said is without fault. From what does it arise? Because the power of the object is different. Because the wind that perfects the object is near and far, the things that perfect the object are also different, so the power is different. However, since it is constant and all-pervasive, there is no difference for all beings, so shouldn't grasping and not grasping be the same? It is said, how is it the direction of the object and so on. Moreover, the wind perfects the object, but not the object itself, how is it to be understood? It is said, "the arising of sound" and so on. Through recognition, sound is all-pervasive and is established as being the only one, therefore sound is not produced. Therefore, it indirectly implies that the arising of sound is also constant. However, just like seeds and sprouts and so on, if it exists, just because it exists, sounds are established as being the fruit only through sound. For example, if seeds and so on exist, sprouts and so on will appear, therefore they are its fruit. Similarly, if there is only sound, shouldn't sounds also appear? The name of fruit is only for that reason.
