I, a woman. Also referred to as mother and daughter. For these designations, only the sound is different, but the thing itself is not. For this, only the name is different, because the sound is understandable to all individuals and exists without any difference. If that is the case, then it will not become grasping or non-grasping, and merely the name existing in another way, its nature of being definite in acting upon meaning should not be lost. If it is said that its nature is to be grasped by separately determined individuals, therefore, since the abilities of individuals are different, grasping and non-grasping are not contradictory, then, for those individuals who have not grasped at one time, they will never become graspers. But that is not the case, because in that way, it might lead to the loss of oneness. Therefore, one must acknowledge some state of sound from good deeds and non-good deeds. If that happens, what will happen? If one acknowledges one state, etc. Next, the explanation of the faults on the side of doing both well is mentioned, that is, doing both well, etc. The accusations of faults for doing each of sound and sense organs well will also apply to doing both well. Therefore, it refers to summarizing. By the explainer, etc., to answer, the explainer refers to, as it is said, according to the way of making the ear manifestly clear, this fault also does not exist, because possessing and distinguishing do not help the ear canal that exists far away, therefore, the ear that exists far away is unobservable, so it is explained. Its distinction refers to the distinction of the ear of the ear canal. The distinction of hearing refers to the distinction of understanding. However, if one is done well, how does the other become manifestly clear? For example, the lamp etc. is mentioned. Just as the lamp etc. helps the eye, thereby making the pot etc. manifestly clear, so too, sound is because the ear is done well, so it will make sound manifestly clear. However, merely through sound, in what way is the ear formed

If someone asks, is it necessary to discuss the word "well done"? Therefore, it is said "in what way." Because it is the same in terms of production. The word "refutation and examination" is the remainder. The sound arises from its own causes, and this is also the same refutation and examination. For this, the combination of sound and ear arising from wind, in what way, is it merely the form of sound that distinguishes its own nature? Or how does it do it in another way? This is also something that can be discussed. Because for this, the ability is beyond the senses. For this, when producing sounds, just as the ability to produce the cause of sound is beyond the senses, it is the same in terms of manifestation, so refutation and examination are the same. If the ability is beyond the senses, then how is it understood? Therefore, it is said "ability is constant" and so on. Whether it is the ability to produce or the ability to manifest, all abilities cannot always be inferred from the result in any case. Therefore, that is not worthy of refutation and examination, that is its meaning. If asked, what is the result from which it is understood? Therefore, it is said "if it exists" and so on. If it exists, it is just that sound exists. Its existence is that which grasps the sound, which is the standard of the ability of sound, and the ability is understood through the result of grasping the sound, that is its meaning. Saying "merely" is to exclude production. Therefore, this is the conclusion, therefore, these sounds alone, through the ability beyond the senses, become the cause of manifestation when producing the ability of the ear sense beyond the senses. It should be referred to as "of sounds." Or, why not consider sound alone as the cause of production? Therefore, it is said "which ones" and so on. Which ones are the Buddhists. The ear grasps the uncontacted and produced sounds, which are both uncontacted and produced, so they are uncontacted and produced. The eyes, fences, and consciousness are uncontacted with the object, and sounds are the great elements that are grasped and ungrasped.
